    Those koi at Dainichi are massive. I can only dream of ever having a koi anywhere close to that size. I don't think I would be able to select my preferred koi at the Kase Koi farm lottery so easily as they appeared to do. There were so many magnificent koi there that I wouldn't even know where to begin.

    I am learning about the whole world of koi. I can understand the desire for length. I don't understand the desire for girth. To the average person huge girth looks out of proportion. It's all cultural I suppose. The average Joe's aesthetic preferences don't even enter into consideration.
