Hi Gemma, Nostalgia is good. Time travelling. Cassette tapes to record the Top 40. Sharing tapes with my best friends. Going to gigs. Pretending to go stay with your friends to study together? But really going to see a band! Oh thank goodness we didn't have mobile phones. We had so much freedom. 😊 I don't think I've ran for a bus in years 😄 Thank you ❤🙏xxxx

Ya they used to broadcast top40 world wide in the 80s. Not any more! Between the capitalists and censorship we get nothing or everything depending on your keyboarding skills! The Music Scene certainly has changed! As Billy Joel sang... It's still Rock and Roll to me! ❤✨⭐

American here. Casey Kasam,top forty on Sunday mornings on the radio,but on Sunday night,another radio show called," Rock Over London" was the one where the tape recorder can out to play.😆 Wow, haven't thought of that in thirty or more years.

Thanks Gemma, I remember ‘ studying’ my best friend who lived around the corner, we were 14, we decided to do make up instead, creating a blue with eye shadow look called, evening shade, and a peachy look Morning glory Her mam came in to check and could see no studying was happening and I had to head home 😅

I used to jam the lipgloss from one of those super cheap make up sets onto my mouth. I must have looked horrific but I thought I looked great at the time! 🤭✨✨

In middle school, my friend and I called into a local radio station to request “Sexual Healing” by Marvin Gaye. That was about the age in which hormones had started to flow strongly and that song felt a bit “forbidden.” It took hours for the DJ to finally play the song, but when he did finally play it, we were there to hit play and record on the stereo. 😂 I actually still love that song. 🎶 Deeply resonates. Will try the meditation. TY.

Well that was a lovely stroll down my childhood and teenage years :) I think Top of the Pops was on Fridays? Or Mondays? I remember when MTV and VH1 came along. I remember not being able to quite decide if I liked the idea of a music video channel or not. (And now I live on YT.)

Thanks Gemma! When the cats are in the plant pots, all is well. First song we taped on my brother's tape recorder was Wuthering Heights which got played incessantly....

I shared your “tipping” joke with my pun-loving friend, he was not amused because I got HIM for once. 😂

Cowasaki…. fabulous- 2 points😂!! Absolutely loved Chloe’s fairy garden!! So interesting that Cocreate and Neverending Story oracle cards have almost the exact same flags hanging on top! Sometimes I am just fascinated at the connected stories told! So… time to feel and observe- us Aries love action- so felt this to be a “settle down girl “ message! We also used to get a late night program with Kasey Kasem here in the UK. I think it was on BBC Two and it was about half an hour long and he used to talk about music. It was very exotic for us! 🤭🎶

Argh, now I BELIEVE I am on the correct day, lovely mug, that shade of blue is one of my favorites. I made mix tapes all of the time. Maybe you can give the cats something else to sleep in because as a gardener you must have your plants in your pots!

Limahl hair ...maybe my next hair appointment is achieving limahl. I've been seven and the ragged tiger John taylor long enough. 😂
