PYQ 1. Answer : 1. CAR-T cell therapy involves modifying a patient's T-cells to target cancer cells more effectively. 2. The T-cells are modified to express proteins called Chimeric antigen receptors(CARs) which help recognise and attack cancer cells. 3. The drugs controller general of India approved the CAR-T cell therapy called nexCAR19 in October 2023. PYQ 2. Answer : 1. Jonas salk developed the first polio vaccine which is an inactivated polio virus vaccine. 2. IPV contains live short and can cause the disease. PYQ 3.answer is : 1.
