There are some villages in central hill of Sri Lanka like this. They are in the knuckles range. There are Ramamure, mahalakotuwa.pitawala. Very old villages. Simple life style like this. Most of the time these villages are covered in mist. And very cold . But they do not keep goats and horses. And do not make butter or cheese. And they grow paddy only. No snow .
