Who are Kara and Nate?!
Watch our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” & became obsessed. So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went home to “normal life.” We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with this lifestyle and did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time. Van life was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

There was a russian youtuber and vlogger Yan from TOPLES channel on the 50 years of victory ship. The episode from their trip just arrived on his channel some days ago, it's more a scientific and documentary video showing us the history, crew members stories and how certain things work. Also he made a proposal to his gf while being in the center of the Northern Pole, truly amazing.

Not everyone will be able to understand how important the moment of the meeting of the two ships was. I don't know when this episode was filmed, but the fact that ordinary people still treat each other like human beings and are happy to see each other touches my heart. I am from Russia and this is very important for me. Kara and Nate, thank you for being human

WOW, 50 years of victory, what a meeting! A nuclear icebreaker, of course, it is not intended for cruise flights, according to its design. And I took it in St. Petersburg at the factory and we distilled it to Murmansk. Greetings to all from a sailor from Murmansk))

So, lately, there has been a lot of "this is going to sound spoiled, but...". At this point in your YT career, you *are* spoiled. But you have *earned* this status, you deserve it. Years back, you were lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time, and you were smart and skilled enough to make the most of it. If you were trust fund kids who expected only the finest, you would be so irritating, but that's not you. You're a young couple from Tennessee with very good hearts, and it seems you appreciate every opportunity that continues to come your way. Sometimes we in your community get jealous and that's natural too. Please just keep doing your thing, keep feeling gratitude, and the rest of us will keep enjoying all the adventures life has to offer, thanks to you sharing yours. 💛

You can watch the ice melt real time. Many people have the false assumption that cruising is greener than flying. While both emit pollution into the atmosphere, cruise ships are far worse. Per passenger, per mile, a cruise emits almost double the carbon dioxide. Cruise ship emissions are also harmful to marine environments and its inhabitants.
