In the US Army (and other branches) there are set procedures to waking someone out of a sound sleep! The person waking up has a 30 second 'window' where their actions are considered involuntary. No telling what sort of combat experiences a person might have.

There is a fixed penalty notice of up to £100 that can be issued by local authorities if you are caught not cleaning up after your dog. Ah, one of the big differences between a European and an American point of view. Driving from the UK to Spain is a long way? That's about the distance across just the state of Texas. Also, that's about a day's drive. A long day, yes, but still only a single day. I've done over 1000 miles (1609km) in a single day multiple times. Its not always fun, but it is doable.

Hi Bunny, sleepwalking is very interesting. There's a show called Unsolved Mysteries where they have two stories where each person suffered from it. Some of it has to do with the pressure to perform from getting a college scholarship to a prestigious university. Other times can possibly be genetic. One of the stories involved a man in college getting out of bed while still asleep, eyes wide open, runs down the stairs into the street and runs for a while before getting hit by a truck and died instantly.
