Watching in 2022! This blessed me so much.. Thank you for this video! The Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and I feel so close to Him after reading this. Thank you Jesus for what you did for us to now be in close relationship with you, with Abba Father, and that we now have your Holy Spirit living in us. So beautiful, this new covenant. Another great explanation and call to action, Darren. I'm not sure why I didn't ask this earlier, but what is the reason to go from Matthew to Hebrews and then Romans? I understand the reason to hit one Gospel as the others are similar enough to spread them out a bit, but why Hebrews next, and why go to Romans? Hey Chris - we mapped out the year and decided to bounce for a few reasons. Will try to explain then soon in a FAQ video. Also, its episode 65 cause we started in October then paused and started up Jan 1st again.

so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. Hebrews 9:28 NIV

In Old Testament times, after the sprinkling of the sacrificed animal's blood, was everything physically cleansed with water or whatever until the next sacrificed? Just curious.🙋‍♀️

Just an error. It happens. He spoke on chapter 9.

7:05 - People of Israel and their High Priest did not enter the presence of God. The Tent was still a shadow. Plus, the cloud that came down from Heaven and the incense that fill the Holy of Holies did not "disclosure" His presence. The presence of God, of the old covenant, was a sign and a symbol. A Christian's access to the presence of God is one in, and of, the Heavenlies: Far greater, far divine and without comparison.
