There s so much material in these sketches. It s not absurd humour at all. It s meaningful to the point that sometimes i don't see the joke in the text, just in its delivery. It s funny only bc of the way it is presented, not bc of its content. Trully, its content is mostly heartbreaking. Here for example, the psychological turmoils of the famous and the successful are real..

The "B ... Boys..." You could never get away with that today! It was so classic hoof in mouth Stuart. Back in the day, everyone would laugh about the obvious cluelessness of a comment like "The B Boys" made to two black men and the oafishness of that statement. And no hard feelings at the end of the day. Yeah, and white folks would have gotten that was a dumb-butt comment, too! Great writing, and it was wonderful how the script made fun of Stuart and white cultural stereotypes, at the same time. Meanwhile showing how the two black men handled it with grace and class.

B-Boys was the name of breakdancers in the hip hop world in the 80s and early 90s. Stuart thinks he's clever that he stumbled upon a hip joke which is corny at the same time.
