I worked in oil fields ( 22.5 year son rigs, 5+ years in surface facility’s including refinery as repair pipe fitter.) Can tell you very scary (refinery work) and priority. You are required to label and date and sign all your work in records and on actual pipes/ plumbing / valves where ever you worked! So if something failed you get to go to jail!!! I loved to run stainless steel tubing. Bending, fitting runs in over around in and out of controlled stations and test stations. To and from control valves level controls electrical over air and heat over air and gas /air regulators. Relief valves as little as 2psi up to 6,000 psi.

I'm a little surprised they didn't have spade connections at the solenoid. Instead of having to create a wiring mess, but nice video man! I haven't worked on these VRFs, they look cool, and I'd love to learn em someday. But I hate city parking for us trade guys, so maybe not. 😂😂, Great video mate

Nice troubleshooting mate , I'm kinda clueless when it comes to VRVs they all seem so overly complicated to me , thank goodness I don't work on them . For the solenoids I like to carry a voltage stick to check if they're energized , then I'll check the ohm value and/or use a solenoid magnet . Unrelated topic : since you know your gear , could you talk about which work trousers and boots you use , I'm tryna find a good confortable pair but its hard if you don't have it in front of you . I bought a pair of Scruffs trousers years ago in London , they're still going strong , hopefully when we can travel again I'll come up and buy me some new ones .Cheers mate , good one 👍.

Your spot on mate, I completely forgot to mention you should check you have power from the PCB first and like you say it’s always handy to carry a solenoid magnet in your bag 👌🏼 Yes, I’ve been getting a few questions regarding work wear so I’ll definitely show you what I use in one of the next videos 👍🏼👍🏼 Thanks for watching mate 🤜🏼🤛🏼
