this live performance is absolute insane and uncommon... they start on the stage went to the cowd and start surfing in the crowd including the drummer with drumset, after that they surf out the bar :D realy nice.

When you hear their albums, you don't expect them to play like this. When I first looked them up, I questioned if I looked up the right band. I just can't see them playing some of their clean songs like Incognito or Jellyfish sunrise.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this! I thought I always liked these guys a bit from the studio tracks KZread would throw my way. Who would've known they ripped like this??

I definitely like the recordings better - I find this to be kind of a sloppy mess

Until you actually see this act live, you have no f***ing idea how cray cray a level they take it. Saw them a week after this recording was made, at a show in San Diego at the "Til Two Club." I am a seasoned live show aficionado and had no idea what I was in for. If you go, you are not escorted gently into the vibe and scene. You are hurled with great force. They perform a tribal ritual that unfolds before you, unscripted, using locals as their props... And it isn't until after the show, after the smoke clears from setting (whatever the venue permits) on fire that you realize, you - the audience fan - are an INTEGRAL component to this live act. Okay look, I opened with how I am a live show aficionado. I have 40 years under my belt attending live shows, and NOTHING prepared me for this freakazoid known as Daikaiju. Have I pique'd your interest yet? FUCKING GO! Honestly, I have no idea how I ended up on THIS platform. I was always a traditional Rush & other monsters of rock fan. How DID I end up here? Well, throw in a little love for the late and absolute great Dick Dale and the Del Tones, and it won't take you long to realize that you are looking at a (cringe) cover act of Dick Dale at his absolute best... an act who absolutely respect his contribution to music, and who have no desire to usurp it, but rather elevate it to a next level. If you are wondering what Daikiaju sounds like, then imagine the late Dick Dale after ingesting rocket fuel. May his soul lay to rest. Without him, we would NEVER have appreciated this genre to the degree we do today.

@@NinjaDogma I experienced their show for the first time this year and it was freaking amazing. They played in a shitty dive bar south of Detroit and there were like 30 people there. I totally get what you're saying about them.
