編曲者法比安．歐比斯波（Fabian Obispo, Jr.，1947-）為菲律賓裔美籍作曲家、音效設計師，為多部音樂劇寫曲，也創作許多合唱作品。本次演出歐比斯波於 1969 年重新編曲的無伴奏混聲四部版本。
〈因為有你〉以他加祿語（Tagalog）演唱，屬於菲律賓的昆地曼（Kundiman）傳統情歌。這類歌曲旋律優美溫順，以獨唱的方式抒發男女之情。本曲歌詞訴說對心儀對象愛慕的情懷，在坎坷的生命中，愛人是藉以生存的力量。樂曲開始以小調帶來沉重絕望的氣氛，訴說未知愛情時的苦楚。副歌轉為大調，表達愛人出現後的希望與熱情使憂愁消散。歌曲在輕聲細語中作結，宛如情人在耳邊的呢喃。

Having been the 1963 (IFYE) Program awardee from the Philippines for six (6) months to the Republic of China (Taiwan) under the 4H club Movements of the Philippines.
I just arrived in the Philippines 7 months ago.. this Classical Filipino song has deep nostalgia for this nation before and after the second world war.. I can feel the crying and longing from this extraordinary NTU chorus performance... Salam persaudaraan dari Indonesia
