@hate-to-hate it's hard to describe, but as the track builds up the first minutes it really gets you going (of course) and then when the beat stops and the screetching gets "slower" there's a sense of coming down a bit, of falling maybe. but when the screetching bit gets "faster" and higher again, and the hi-hats come again, and then the beat starts again...man, that's an amazing feeling, elevating. there are quite a few tracks from various artists that do that, and i believe they know exactly why they do it. check out "destination unknown" from green velvet for example, between minute 4 & 5.

Man.. coming back here after 20 years.. No i am 26 and it all sounds 100 times better with a grown up mind. It naturally combines with my fantasies and memories from when i was a kid, so beautiful. This song clearly has drifting cars in it!
I'm here because Gaspar Noë's Climax damaged me a little but the music slaps, it slaps so hard

Like a warm slice of bread with butter melting on top, this song is simplicity embodied. Its June 2020 and I still haven’t finished Daft Punk’s homework from 1997. Still here.

How to train yourself to hate all your favorite songs. Genius!
I remember the first time I heard it in 1997 I was 12 and I immediatly became addict to that song. Althought I felt a little unconfortable because I thought that most of the people could not understand the power aned the greatness of it. Anyway, Homework was the first album I had and it defined a large part of my musical tastes. And 23 years later I still love that song as much as when I was a kid!

I was literally listening to you guys last night, and this last week. I honestly can't believe that this would happen, especially with all that you've guys done together. I even remember when you guys released "Get Lucky" on my birthday on KZread and me always jamming too it even last night. You guys were truly iconic, and legendary. A duo that will always be remembered for its memorable iconic and legendary moments which in my opinion were one of the best duos ever. Thank you for everything, you guys did, you will truly be missed Daft Punk. I honestly didn't expect this to happen so early, but like they always say every great thing always has a start and then an end. Truly missed and one of the best artists in history. Glad to have been able to exprience them throughout all these years & to hear them. All the best to the both of them as they take on their seperate ways. 😭🤧👏💫👑🔝🙏👑
Daft Punk were the real deal when they made this kind of noise!
This is one of the most kick-ass songs ever composed
A minha música preferida desde 97. Bons momentos. Obrigado DaftPunk por esta e muitas
Thanks for everything daft punk
Well played friends! Thanks for everything!

It's so primal
Funkier than an old batch of collard greens!! Booty bouncing infinity like hot butter in breakfast toast!! Long live Daft Punk!!!💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿❤️❤️
THIS!!! This was the FIRST Daft Punk track that I listened to IN A CLUB! I was 13! My neighbour who was my best friend showed me this album. And one day I went to a Club "matiné" and the DJ played this for Kids from 13 to 17 years old. It became a classic in my mind! Today, on my 37 years of age, I cry. I cry because of the end of something I love from the first day. I am NO ONE, but my love is GIANT! My skin, emotions and thought are all FUCKED UP because you announced your split. It's UNFAIR for the electronic music culture. For me, you will always be GODS. Yes, this might sound desperate speech, and it is. I am no one with the pain of everyone! I can't handle this now... I feel desperate of crying like a newborn baby but instead of having a long life ahead, I feel the end of the line. I'm sorry if you're reading this. More than myself, this must be huge for you guys. I just want to send my love and... sniff (yeah, couldn't handle the tears anymore), wish you all the best! Best regards from a Portuguese adult fan who is dying inside. Will LOVE you until the end of my days. Mauro
