Her family was slaughtered Her husband died Her three children died in front of her Jorah died in front of her Missandei was beheaded in front of her She lost her army fighting for the north when she could’ve taken kings landing in a day without bloodshed The north treated her like shit Varys betrayed her Tyrion betrayed her Jon betrayed her multiple times then he killed her She was grieving and NOBODY offered comfort or told her it would be ok. Not even Tyrion. Not even Jon. She needed to be consoled but no, everyone either died or betrayed her. A Targaryen alone in the world truly is a terrible thing 😢

I refuse to watch the last episode. She was ruined. And then, watching the House of Dragons, I read that Rhaenerys was eaten by Aegon IIs dragon. Queen for half a year. Sorry.

Daenerys was my favorite character of all time and i am still so angry with what they did to her. The scene from 3:25 until 5:28 describe perfect that she would never burn kingslanding down. She cared for the people and fight for them 7 seasons long and suddenly in S8 she burn all of them. The writers ruined her character. I was always sure she would die in the end but i always imagine it like she die as a hero an not as the villian. She really got the worst end of all characters, even cersei got a happy end with Jamie in her arms. Even Tyrion become hand of the king at the end...for what? Dany lost everything because of him and he dont have to pay for it. Really the last season ruined the whole series for me but your video was amazing. Thanks for show how she really was!

@@alinakirill Ah yes the surrendered "civilians" who raped and murdered hundreds in the riots of kings landing, the ones who cheered when Ned Starks head was cut off, the ones who not even a generation ago let the Targaryen children be slaughtered like dogs, the ones who without question followed the high sparrow down their religious fanaticism. You can hate Dany all you want and call her mad but if your children were murdered right in front of your eyes, your family slaughtered by these very people, and your friends sacrificed so they could be free but instead they fought against it, what do you think you would've done? You also have an insanely loose definition of tyrant and genocide may I add. If there was a season 9 and like how some people prophesize Dany would be resurrected by the Red Priests of Volantis and she decided "you know fuck all these people" and burns them all then you would have a point but there needed to be a good couple more seasons worth of character development for it to still be believable.

Gendry also lived in the capital - is he a rapist and a villain? In every city there are bad people and there are good people. But Daenerys didn't care. She sentenced absolutely everyone to death, although she had already won and there was no need for this massacre. Humble your idol - a mass murderer and nothing more

oh my..that scene at 07:09 when we hear her say she wouldn't be alone, she'll have her dragons, what could anyone possibly do to them..and you show us how most of them died.........chills. terrible chills :(

Agreed, I have a guess why. That D and D wrecked a perfectly good tv series and broke with multiple characters actual characters isn't hard to see. And they likely did it just for shock value and to failingly try to excuse scenes that shouldn't have happened-they likely changed season 8 from wildfire burning King's Landing to dragon fire because they wanted the multiple scenes from episode six of season 8 even though they realized those scenes shouldn't happen. 1. Yes, commentary from computer effects people is evidence that a change was made and an earlier plan for season 8 was for most of King's Landing to burn due to wildfire, they were told the plan then later told to change the scenes to "not wildfire". Link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZaV1pdKkZNu9eso.html This is just 1 bit of evidence wildfire was the earlier intended way King's Landing would burn, there are other bits but I think this is important because it shows someone was directly told to change their part of making season 8. 2. That means Jon would not have agreed to assassinate Dany as a massive wildfire disaster was never what she wanted. 3. And if the start of season 8's episode six did play out then the ending wouldn't have happened. A Grey Worm already killing prisoners would've killed Jon and Tyrion day 1, not waiting for a council to assemble that he doesn't take orders from anyway. 4. And if a council was formed to pick a new king then both Jon and Gendry have better claims to the crown so their names would have been discussed first, not Bran's. 5. If Tyrion's brain was functioning Bran telling him "Why do you think I came all this way?" would've been a clue to Tyrion that Bran either planned all this and is a mass murderer including of Tyrion's brother or (if one doesn't think Bran is quietly being a puppet master) it would still let Tyrion know Bran foresaw one of the worst disasters to hit Westeros and let it happen just so he could be king meaning Bran is utterly useless. Either way Tyrion would probably go scratch that Bran the Broken idea and say someone else should be king (and if the former is true Tyrion may try to think of a way to kill Bran as both revenge and to rid Westeros of him). So I figure D and D were trying to go for scenes they had no good excuse for having as a way to quickly wrap things up.

My, how the mind of a conspiracy theorist works. 2) Uh huh... I guess this is why the House of the Undying scenes were set up this way... Dany being so close to the throne, then distracted and going through the NORTH to her dead husband and child. 3) Grey Worm is not a dumbass to not realise that now he's surrounded on a hostile continent without both his queen and her dragon. 4) Don't you get it! It is DONE! The realm is DONE with competing claims upon competing claims! It is DONE with dynasties! It is done with that dumb way of picking the peron ruling the realm. Not only are they different from the books but D and D didn't know what to foreshadow even if they wanted to. 3. That wouldn't stop Grey Worm. UnSullied have accepting death drilled into them, plus if he runs on revenge fueled rage then he just got a new dose. Also the Northmen would be outnumbered if it came to an actual fight-and the UnSullied sure were not portrayed as being afraid of them in season 8. 4. "The realm is DONE with competing claims upon competing claims! It is DONE with dynasties! It is done with that dumb way of picking the peron ruling the realm. It is READY to try something new!" Says who? The nobles just laughed at the idea of giving peasants a vote and everyone with a vote that counts at the council meeting (sorry Davos) has that position because of his or her bloodline. This is not something new. Bran isn't an advocate for new things nor is he concerned if other people live or die. This is stagnation. 5. Bran is a magic user and all his extra knowledge comes through magic-thus supernatural abilities. Also I'm pretty sure most people of the audience are neither likely mass murderers nor felt Bran stood for them-a good many hated the idea of Bran becoming king. BTW Bran isn't really that useful with how he uses knowledge of the future or the past-he could be composing a history of Westeros but doesn't even do that. The only times he uses knowledge of the past it is to benefit himself, Bran is of little to no use to other people (and if he is a mass murderer others would be better off without him).

@@SerbAtheist One other thing that could serve as an example related to point 2. In season 8 Arya is shown killing the Night King. D and D admit in an interview that they made the decision to have Arya kill him just a few years before they made season 8-thus it was not something foreshadowed in earlier seasons and could have been whatever character they wanted that happened to be near Winterfell at the time. They tried having the Red Priestess Melisandre repeat a line she told Arya in the early seasons of GoT to make it seem like Arya had been foreshadowed to kill the Night King but if you listen carefully they actually changed the line she told Arya from what had been said. The modification they did changes the order of the color of eyes of people she'd kill to emphasize blue eyes in season 8 more than when the original line was told to Arya. They did that change because they wanted to pretend Arya killing the Night King had been planned all along when they had actually just picked her to do it long after that scene had been made and that line spoken with a different intended meaning. Thus they faked having foreshadowing. D and D made a decision late in the series and then looked backwards to the early seasons to see if there was some old line or scene they could use to try to excuse or provide cover for whatever decision they made. The line or scene was not intended to foreshadow what they decided to do later. They just wanted to pretend they planned things out more than they actually did. The interview proved that. I think part of that interview may be in the Inside the Episode for The Long Night episode in season 8.

The Queen they turned her into, was not who she was. I’ll never get over it. Honestly season 8 destroyed GOT forever. The best series, will always be sadly remembered as the worst in the end. Emilia Clarke herself was devastated when she read the script. She went walking for 2 hours & then had to call her mother for comfort. Just to absorb what she’d read. They not only destroyed Daenerys but they destroyed Emilia too. Long live our REAL dragon queen 👑

alinakirill That is called character assassination. Don't blame the character for the out of character nonsense that bad writers force on him or her. Do you really think the woman who made a point of freeing slaves and then transitioned Meereen to a democracy would actually have a problem with others getting to choose? Really? How about this, Daenerys more than once showed concern for the innocent and also willingness to punish those she thought was guilty. That is not someone who would ignore Cersei (especially a Cersei that killed her friend in front of her) in order to go after random people on the street-yes if you closely watch episode 5 of season 8 you may notice they actually portray Cersei being ignored. That breaks with Daenerys in at least 2 different ways in 1 time. And in case you think viewers missed something and that this wasn't writers screwing up don't forget that in season 2 they clearly showed that in King's Landing bells do not mean surrender.

Moreover, when she left for Westeros, she made the head of Meereen Daario Naharis, whom no one elected in the elections either. This is not a democracy. This is a monarchy.

@@alinakirill Rewatch season six. Towards the end when she is getting ready to sail to Westeros she is setting up how things will be while she is gone. She specifically said the "people" of Meereen would pick their leaders. That is a democracy. Now it can be a mixed form of government such as when officials are elected but a royal family still exists. Multiple nations have or have had those in recent times including today. Many European nations still have a royal family, the British are simply one of the best known. People vote in a town mayor or a member of parliament but the royal family still exists. Also Daario was told his job was to protect the city, this meant he was either a police chief or a general. She also mentioned she was giving him rules to follow, based on what she said about people picking their rulers I'd expect one of them to be that he wasn't allowed to stage a coup against whomever was elected.

At the end I always feel sorry for Drogon. His beloved mother is dead and he’s the last of his kind with nowhere to really go.

Jon submitted to her against her will and tackled her, not the other way around ... Because of Sam, the relationship was practically ruined before it even started. However, he knew beforehand that she had punished a few. What bothers me most about seasons 7 and 8 is that their relationship degenerated into some kind of fan service.

First everyone trusted her... everyone used her ...she saved everyone...she lost her close peoples while saving everyone... Then everyone betrayed her after knew jon is targaryen...and finally they killed her... No one comfort her or try to calm her...they just simply killed her after all what she did to them... everyone has happy ending except the one who truly deserve that... it's the worst ending i have ever seen in my life... Whatever she is the queen of the whole world... Daenerys targaryen...the last blood of targaryens ...and the best queen...

She gave up ever piece of her soul. She ran thru hell everyday ... often times no one knew the pain she faced. She lost children, family and friends along the way, seeking, fighting, believing in one dream only to be pulled away. In the end I believe she will die of a broken heart.

This story really shows that not all stories of kings and queens have happy endings and that you don't always get to the point of life you worked for. It's for the better good 🖤

I agree! While fighting for House Lannister he brought in the mountain clans who are essentially a cross between Wildlings & Dothraki, used the Mad King's wildfire stash to burn an entire fleet of soldiers to death, said he wished for enough poison to kill everyone in King's Landing, etc. His best friend was Varys, the man who orchestrated Dany's nightly rape by a slave owning warlord and near assassination when she was pregnant. He kept making excuses for him. "he did what he had to to survive" "he's probably why you weren't murdered in your crib"

So the burning of the city was senseless both from a moral and from a practical point of view. I still believe that Daenerys' act cannot be forgiven. Lost friends or not, no one has the right to kill about a million people. Especially if these people unarmed, gave up and begged for mercy. She won, her enemies dropped their weapons, there was no need for this massacre. But she did it because she wanted it. I will never understand those people who say that she had the right to do so, or "she must be forgiven." Jon begged her to give him a reason not to kill her. But she had no remorse, no regret. Her words "They won't have a choice" was a death sentence for her. These are the words of a tyrant. These are the words of totalitarianism. Jon saved the world.

It was senseless.. on the writer's part to say that would happen. FYI, I was the one who gave you a plus for mentioning Cersei was Dany's enemy and what was portrayed was actually giving Cersei time to make an escape attempt.

Joshua Adams I could see why you may guess that but there are a couple of issues. Cersei already lost everything. Thus Dany would be burning her own city. That is dumb and not hurting Cersei. Cersei in season 7 was ready to leave everyone in King's Landing to die to the undead except a few cohorts she called "important" when she heard the undead and the Night King were a major threat. Dany could go after Cersei if she knew where she was or which ship she may be on. But the more time Dany gives to Cersei the less likely Dany is to know where Cersei is. Wasting time on random people on the street actually prevents revenge rather than getting it. I can also see why you may think that about Drogon except neither he nor those people were there during the storming of the dragonpit. So that would be Drogon taking revenge for something he didn't know happened against people that didn't do it. Makes less sense when thought of that way. FYI I can guess why the writers did it. I suspect they were trying to shoehorn a way for Bran to get the crown when he didn't really deserve it and the end of season 8 actually shoes he is a bad king that doesn't care if his people live or die (Bran thinks discussion of a deadly disease that is spreading isn't worth his time even though his magic abilities to turn into 1984's Big Brother mean he could've been the best contact tracer in Westeros.) There is evidence they changed how season 8 would go and the earlier plan for season 8 was to have wildfire blow up the city (those green explosions were originally intended to be much more meaningful and part of a chain reaction). But then D and D likely realized their weak excuse to have Jon agree to assassinate Dany would be even weaker if the destruction of King's Landing was something Dany didn't want and happened for a combination of reasons with a combination of people to blame. No assassination then Dany or both Dany and Jon are in Bran's way.

Still triggers me... the burning of kings landing was out of character and useless, if she "went mad" she would have gone for the red keep and burn it down maybe including cersai, but the people first ignoring Cersai and the red keep? and AFTER surrendering? no way

She was trash from the start. She had no right to the throne. Nor did her family. Nothing was done to them that they had not done to others. All they had were dinosaurs. Big lizards. Like Jeff Goldbloom said in Jurassic Park "they had their chance". The best part is that Drogon was left to die totally alone.

She’s a killer. I do not take offense nor do I give offense. Storm born is a killer. She lost my heart
