What a great gift from a great daughter!! I do feel a little bad. He was obviously brought to tears and was having one of the most overwhelming and emotional moments in his life and the other lady wouldn't let up. Just because she doesn't know how it works, doesn't mean it doesn't work - it just means she don't know how it works. It's like saying a cell phone a hoax because you don't know how radio waves work At least he gets to keep enjoying the color forever now!

I watched quite a number of these videos and nothing gets me more than watching grown men breaking down over color, makes me feel, what they must be feeling.

Sweet guy. The woman is really annoying though. Just shut up and let the poor guy have his moment.

Not tears of sorrow, tears of joy! Crying is from the heart being overwhelmed. We have been thought that are from sorrow.

Color blind people have a deficiency in the "rods and cones " in our optic systems that prevent the ability to see sharp vivid color tones through the entrance of light through the eye.

It must be hard, knowing you're being filmed at an emotional time like that.The lady could have been more tactful,you could tell he was uncomfortable with all her questions.

I'm so waiting for him to look at the flowers...

To live your whole life, become a gray-haired father, and finally see red for the first time. I'd cry harder than that, I'm sure.

Folks should prepare the gift recipient for the shock of seeing color for the first time better than they do. It can be quite a traumatic experience. I watched a big middle aged man who looked like he could bench press my SUV, giggle and run around like a 5 year old when he first put them on, only to end up later sobbing like Charlton Heston in ‘Soylent Green’ saying….’How could I have known?’. We take all this for granted every day.

Thanks for sharing. Also, if I behaved as that kid off camera... I wouldn't be typing this today.
