Her little face when she starts crying before she runs to him gets me every time. My dad passed away in 2011, and this would be my reaction if God let me see him for a few minutes. I would burst into tears and run to him like she did. I miss him so much...

Darci Stewart ....my dad also passed in 2011. He was a Vietnam. & Korean war veteran and I remember every time he came home after his many months at sea!!! Ur comment says exactly how I feel!!!! I pray God blesses us both......to be able to run to our Daddy's one more time!!!

So agree. My father passed unexpectedly in 2016. I’m over 40 years old and I still feel like an orphan without him. I wait eagerly for the day when we are reunited in Heaven and know the hug I will give him when that day comes.

This is soooo cute! That little girl has probably been unable to put into words her feelings throughout the year her dad has been aware. The fear that he may not come back....the explosion of emotion must just be like a whole year's worth of pent up feelings. Bless her! A what a double take!

That moment when you put your hands up like you used to when you were and kid and wanted your parents to pick you up. She did it as she ran towards him. This is so amazing.

I am glad your daughter got to see her father. I know there are a lot of children, wives, fathers, mothers, and brothers and sisters that don't. Everyone in this country owes your husband and his brothers/sisters in arms our lives. Thank him for me and my family please.

I must say that I wasn't expecting to cry, but I immediately started crying out of nowhere when I watched this. lol My dad is in the army and I completely understand that feeling of being away from your father b/c of his military duty.
