Obviously your dad brought you up with true values telling youngest one day you will find the one. He is with God now watching over you and don’t forget to stay strong and always use wisdom and avoid bad people and listen to the voice inside that is God protecting you! You have a long life ahead of you and make the best of it doing good things along with the right people, does not need to be money but a nice time with good people around you! Hey Elin, my daughter is 11, just like you. I have terminal cancer, unfortunately, so I won't be around for her wedding either. That's really tough to cope with. It's something that every daddy wishes for his little girl. But even though I can't give her that dance or walk her down the aisle, I'll always be with her. I will live forever within her and her babies one day, too. She's going to cuddle and sing them songs just like I do with her. Just like you're going to do things your father did when you have babies. He might not be there to hug, but he will always be with you, forever and always. I hope you're able to stay strong and to know it's okay when you can't be.

I miss you baby girl. You've been gone six years now. It still hurts. Cannot wait for our heavenly reunion. XOXO

I was raised by my step dad, butttt he was my real dad for taking care of me, like a dad. Your real dad is the one that is there for you, takes care of you and it takes a lot of love to do that. I just hope my step knew that I always felt that he was "my dad", before he passed away. Just make sure your foster dad knows he's "your dad" before you can no longer tell him.

I'm a father of a beautiful 9 year old baby girl and this songs just make me cry no matter how strong I am I just can't hold back tears and I pray to our lord that I'm around when her day comes I also read some of the posting of some girls that lost their daddy's and they wish they were still here for their big day well let me tell you all you girls your daddy's will be there trust me on that my wife lost her father at age 9 and it broke my heart when we got married because she was in tears and I prayed to god to please give my wife a sign that he was there with us and she got it so that's why I say please don't be sad your daddy's are always there. +MsPrettypinkpanther8 I have a charm with his picture on it for my bouquet as I have my mom walk me down the aisle on their anniversary that mom suggested we use for our wedding day. February 5th last year would have been their 50th and he passed just 5 short months before it. We celebrated them of course and showered mom with flowers. I feel honored to marry the one man my dad considered good for me and called his son. My fiance' lost his dad many years ago so the time he spent with my dad was so precious. Sigh... oh here comes the tears again.

My parents were divorced, when i was 13years old. And i was cared by my father. He was a kind and polite. Hard working man and very cooperative to everyone. He was died of oesophegeal cancer. It was the hardest moment to accept that my father was no more in this world. There is no doubt that i love my father more than my mother!! Father love is precious and rare!And lucky one like me can get the Father love!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

This was a beautifully written song which probably brought out everything that my father wanted to say to my sister who got married. What made it even more wonderful was the fact that he couldn't attend the wedding courtesy covid 19 being on the other side of the world in India. Picked this song with my daughter for her wedding in 10days, brought tears to my eyes

I have 5 kids, 4 boys and a 9 year old girl, the apple of my eye, and she knows that. I loved all my kids with all my heart, but she´s my only girl.... 2 weeks ago she had her First Communion, and looked so beautiful, she´s just like her Mom.
