Why yall still calling him Kais Dad? We been on this journey for a while now he is just Dad to me now. Lol. We all family now.
Steve WInwoods singing really highlights where his career was about to take off with Traffic
The intro bass reminds me of Curtis Mayfield “Pusherman” which came out in 1972. I wouldn’t doubt I’m A Man was the inspiration.

Oh my bad. He was 18. I knew he’d started singing younger though.
I’ve heard this when I was younger and never knew who sang it. It sounds like a song that could’ve been in a movie back in the day. I like this dynamic of you both being introduced to one another music.

Daaaaammmnnnnn! I just needed the first 10s to dig into this song and jumped from my chair!!! It directly enters into my top10-20T funky song! his one’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Gotta know that it’s part of hip hop culture cause in two categories of hip hop dancing: locking and b-boying (3, if you talk about b-boying and top rockin to be more accurate), you can play that song and it’d be 🔥! I’m 100% hip hop, but these songs and this cultural movement had nothing to envy to hip hop (in my opinion) 👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽
Thanks for the sample... Truly!

Kool man Amongst the Hendrix the Stones the Tina Turner the Nolans i could go on, was Spencer Davis These were my mothers vinyls i grew up with and although predominantly into hip hop ie Biggie, 2pac, Da Brat, Lil Kim i do shock on the regular people with my what i consider rather mundane knowledge beyond the hip hop sphere into many other genres I wouldn't have picked uo the Bass if weren't for Spencer Davis Till this day "Keep on Running " Brings me warm memories in yellow hue of Mum rockn in the kitchen Rest Eazy Mum✌
