Watching Mr. Godfrey wrapping that truck around that stump with my Father a million years ago is one of our most treasured moments. My best friend, Laura Shelton and Father and I got to see this on Sunday afternoons. Good for us!

I know it adds to the suspense but if Godfrey doesn't know how to drive all Jones had to do was take Godfrey in the car with him to the barn, warn Captain mainwaring and all the platoon could run or walk to a safe distance from the barn and be safe from the explosion, since there was adequate time to escape.
