Some people never had a point where they felt lost in life and dealing with metal self hate. To being reborn and getting past it to keep living. Its a good thing a lot of people dont relate and his dad didnt

I’m glad this album isn’t “mainstream”, cult classic feels more fitting. I’ll never stop replaying this album.

Same. No song from this is my all-time favourite song. All the songs are great though and they all are 9/10 for me. I give this a relisten every other month.

Reborn is a very special song, feels like one of Kanye and Cudi’s most personal tracks

please give a listen to Titanic Rising by Weyes Blood. It’s THE best album from 2019. Solely written by her, and co-produced. Very beautiful and complex chord arrangements.

Reborn has never been one of my favorite songs, and I've always felt it was incredibly overhyped. This is the first time I've seen someone have the same reaction. Much love to your dad for being honest and open, because it's easy to just say we like things just because most people love them. That's why we watch you guys! Definitely a fantastic project tho!!! 2018 Ye was something else, man.

it's a song that is very much mood/vibe based. very sluggish and drowsy, with the constant positive "keep moving forward". classic kid cudi.

@@blood9903 Absolutely right. I've just never been into that drowsy vibe based stuff. I appreciate what Cudi does, and I think he is the best at that mellow trance-like hum thing; but it really does nothing for me. I don't find it hypnotic or anything, it's just super repetitive. I appreciate the meaning behind it, but after a minute or two I'm ready for something else. That's why Cudi has never been my thing. He's probably great background or smoking music tho!
