J Cole has reached new levels of greatness in the last 2 years. Always loved him but his syllable game is all time great at this point.

honestly being a cole fan i always believe he had what people are seeing now in certain songs are features back in the day but he definitely keeps adding to his talent as a mc skills and artistry but hes breaking out even more of his shell thats all he needed 2 do

@@elijahcesar4149 I’m specifically speaking on how effortlessly he’s putting together internal and external rhyme schemes that are 4+ syllables. He’s always been top tier for me but it’s clear the practice he put in with writing drills is paying off. Off season is criminally underrated.

I'd agree especially w features. Long time Cole fan and nc native and he's always had elite cadence but how he has integrated that w punchlines and adjusts to the styles of people he rapping with, now everytime I see him featured I get pumped knowing its Cole on ten.

I'm not a big Cole guy personally, only listened to a few of his albums, but this is easily one of the best freestyles I've ever heard.

Cole’s internal rhyming is what’s the most impressive to me at this point. He rhymes syllables in the middle of bars, not just the end

I don't think so j.cole is a better rapper/ lyrist his flow better than Kendrick.
