Dad lit the barn on Fire!
This old barn was a hazard for our cattle and since there was plenty of moisture to keep us out of the field and keep the fire from spreading we decided to get rid of it. Enjoy!

Cool slow motion walk from your dad with the fire behind him.
"it's moist" *giggles like a 9 year old* always nice to catch our parents having fun huh :D
Cool video of Dad walking away from burning barn. Awesome Brian!
Really enjoyed this video. Kinda sad to see this old barn being demolished and burned though. The history those old buildings could tell!!
I agree with Louie, the slow-mo of your dad torching the roof is awesome.
Loved this video. Very cool watching your dad push the barn over with the tractor.
New to the channel. You're choice of music is spot on beautiful. You're videos are amazing. Keep up the good work. Also beautiful country.
Heck a few nails and a couple 2x4 s and that barn could be like new!! Lol, ya about all u can do is clean it up!!! Those were neat in their time though!!!

No that barn was beyond repairable
You and your dad work well together and he has a good sense of hummer.
It was a cool ass video!!! All of yours are!!! Great stuff Cole and 🧠!!! Loved it!
I got a chuckle out of your dad throwing the match and the hauling butt but you stayed and “holy crap” lol
Haha 🔥 Great video 👍 Keeping them cows safe ❤️
Should have posted it for sale. There is a premium for old barn siding for decorating.
Great drone shots

If anyone has something like this in the future. Your local fire departments love this type of stuff for real world training experience. Former firefighter here.

like when you dad said she was a little moist looked like wet as rain but nice video and also like the when match was thrown on it wow went up fast.
Congratulations on your video, I'm already writing
Looks dangerous! Glad you stayed safe!
Dad: "It"s Moist". Love it!!
Your Dad is cool.
Nice. Doing the same thing with my old moldy house later on.

Nope that wood was WAY too gone.
Brian What was the history of the Barn? My favorite calendar for Christmas was labeled Noble Barns (Not Barnes and Noble)The farm history has some good tales.
very cool video
OH NO! THE BARN WOOD!! GONE! I’VE BEEN WANTING A TABLE MADE OUT OF BARN WOOD!
Well, that's one broad side of a barn you can't hit no more. Good deal.
That was really really entertaining
And I like have some barn boards from that barn😁🐝
Un vrai feu de joie !!
that was fun miss them days
I hope nodody called the fire department. 😂
Now that was a real barn burner of a video .
That‘s the American way? Mother Nature says thank you!
“It’s moist!” 😂😂
Enjoyed ,
Would have paid money to take it off your hands!
Would love to know the history of the barn
Does your Dad remember that barn being operational ? Would be interesting if you had included the history of it if you know it.
Keep using that tractor to move the lumber/ashes and you won't have to worry about nails. They will be in all the tires! Oops!!! But I wish I had used kerosine instead of gasoline when I torched a small shed! That high octane stuff starts up like a small bomb!!! 8+|
I know you all have to do things in your time frame but there was a lot of good wood that could have been salvaged and used for other things around your farm. A backhoe and a couple friends who work for beer could have done wonders to take some of that wood before the final burn.
Your dad is cool as a cucumber
I live in Platte a few miles from mount Vernon do you ever come to Platte
Cole, where are the weiners and marshmallows??🍁🍁🇨🇦
“Safety third!” Stay safe
would have loved some of that old wood though
Féra em ,queimou rapidinho
Bet there were lots of memories that went up in smoke. But that's a way to get ride of old and dangerous things.
Holy frig, was that Brian Sonne in that slow-mo or a young Bruce Willis?

in the words of George Fox "Night the barn burned down" Hot video!!!!
What brand of sweater are you wearing ?? Thanks!!
Boy, the barn wood people are probably crying lol
Darn I kinda liked the Barn
A bit of old news paper and a match would have done to light that , would have been nicer to fix it up and have it as a extra shed.
A lot of sweat and time , went into building those old barns
Tell your dad I'd love to have a beer with him!
Glad this was a controlled burn. Hope the rain stops so that you can get the rest of it burned.
Cool guys don’t look at explosions
What's the story behind the old farmstead ?
@SonneFarms

We rented this pasture for many years and its just a couple of miles away from our place and then the man we rented it from named Kenny passed away. The land came up for auction and we bought it. There is a couple old buildings and an old house
No marshmallows?
Yeah the old barn......she's gone to town.
Who built that barn?
where is the old farm house ?
not another for barn wood builders
luckly you did not pop a tire from nails!
Hi was there not a savage company to come and take the barn down for the old barn wood?

haha he said moist haha

We actually had a few different people that refurbish old wood for decorations come and grab whatever they wanted and they grabbed everything they though was worth saving
Moist! 😆
Just a thought...I realize it was in poor condition. But, before you torch anything like that, it might be worth contacting an architectural firm to see if they want the weathered boards. Yuppies and urbanites go crazy for that stuff. One man's trash is another man's treasure!

stick to farming and don't think of becoming an arsonist!
100plus year old timber, goes for a fortune around here! Next time throw it on youtube that you want a barn gone....make money, reuse irreplaceable wood! Would you burn your farm equipment on a whim?

I dont know, not real into enviromental crap just seeing all that hard work our ancestors did (hand cut beams, no power tools kinda stuff) go up in flames is just down right disrespectful. @@farmerjer9339 thanks for the reply, some of the stuff are family heirlooms , I have found things (pics, mementos, stuff from wars)my dad put up in there from the mid 1800s
You lost thousands of dollars in wood shingles, not to mention all the barn board and beams in that barn. I get why you did it, but you should have looked into the barn material market first. I see you have a few other old buildings on your farm. Look into selling them before you burn them. Just my 2 cents into your life.
