no no it wil be terrific, the husband seems to have natural emotions but the wife seems to pretend to show happy emotions which is not healthy! she saw the big 30 number on the wall , and she had not even a slight bad emotion. either she has directly come from heaven or a goddess becayse naturally women tend to not like crossing 20s and there was a big pink 30 number sticked to the wall.

This is how married life should be, happy, wholesome and filled with happiness, I am very happy for Moe, every girl needs a relaxing time. Moto is a really good husband and father! Sutan is such a happy baby. Loved the cake, the balloons and over all the drawing, I cried a lot.

Yes,most families in Japan is not like this. Busy dad at work,stressed mom at home,neglected children.. Sexless between spouses is almost everywhere. The dad has mistress or go to brothels. The mom sell her body for money. They are raising children as a duty without love. And the children doesn’t understand what love is or the meaning of family is, growing as adult and repeat the same cold household. It’s so sad knowing this side of Japan. Even my family is broken because of my mentally sick Japanese husband. His parents lived separately without divorce. He doesn’t know what family is and can easily throw me and his children like broken glass.

There are positives and negatives within any nation, within any family dynamic. Small thing I really wanna appreciate Moto for. When Sutan was washing her hands, Moto nearly reached for her hands as if to help her rub her hands together. But he hesitated, held back, and then just demonstrated in front of her. It's a small thing but it shows that Moto not only understands, supports and studies from Moe's style of parenting, he also keeps up with how Sutan is being raised (her nap times, etc), and maybe even did some research of his own on the best way to raise Sutan. These things should be the basic for a dad, but so many fail to do that these days. Including my own and I just.... So appreciate Moto-San for being such a loving family man, gives me some hope in love.

If I'm not mistaken, Motoki is 17 years older than Moe. I believe there was a significant age gap with her first husband too because she was something like 20-21 at the time and he was apparently a wealthy business man who travelled internationally and who ended up dying of cancer. As much as people (especially in the West) tend to see relationships like these as "predatory", that's a very smart call on her part IMO. Japanese men of her generation are very much socially awkward men children for the most part and rarely make enough to afford their wife to properly stay at home.

I have always wanted a kind and caring husband. But I have had some really awful, abusive partners. Seeing this treatment makes my heart ache, but it also makes me extremely happy!

Spa treatment, dinner, birthday cake, card holder, but what made Moe shed tears was Moto's pencil hand-drawing of them holding hands. So beautiful. Made me (and my husband) shed tears too.

i knew she was gonna cry at one point, but the most emotional part was when she said " for me, this is a hundred times better than a ring " for receiving a drawn picture of them both holding hands. moto is raising my standards for a husband.

I started crying when Moe started crying and said that the drawings meant a lot than the ring. Some things can never be measured by money or wealth. lol. Lets not forget to not compare. We all express love differently. Unless your saying you Dad never does anything for your mom; my dad is kinda like that but they're not married for love more of a convenience so there's no romance to do these types of things. Maybe your parents relationship is like that too.

This only shows "determination" on his part...if a man puts his mind on doing a housewife job it will definitely work out....and most important shows his love and gratitude to his wife's hard work and that! is 24/7....

While many have expressed 'how lucky' each of the family is and felt genuinely happy for them, so am I. Still, what impresses me most all the time, is the 'gratitude' one sees in all of their eyes. Be grateful to every small things in life, is truly the start of a happy life.

Moto’s laugh is so full of life and love.

It just dawned on me that Moto and Moe's relationship with their baby Sutan is the happy ever after we read about in fairytales or imagine at the end of a romantic movie.

The way Moto appreciate what Moe had done, and the way Moe appreciate what Moto has done for her birthday. Its really a beautiful family indeed.

Sutan is a lucky girl because she is born in such loving family.

They are perfect for each other. You feel the love surrounding them and Sutan completes that love.

I knew as soon as he said he wasn’t sure if his drawing was considered a gift, that it was the gift that would make you cry. I would’ve cried too!

What i love in this small part of their marriage is the appreciation they have for each other. How Moe-san understands the feeling of being away from her family, which is an everyday thing for Moto-san in the making of this video. So delighted to find Kimono Mom. I know you're trying to learn and speak English but please don't stop talking in Japanese. My mother is Japanese, she was born in Aomori, Misawa. I myself was born in Okinawa, Japan. It makes me happy to be able to cook the dishes my mother used to make. I helped her all the time and watched her so I have learned a lot. She passed away in 2016 and I miss her terribly, her cooking and her speaking to me in Japanese. It's amazing how supportive Moto is of you and you're wishes. I'm so happy for you. It's wonderful seeing Sutan growing in front of us, she also will be able cook because she's helping you and watching you. You are so beautiful and always graceful. Best Wishes.

Moto is an ideal husband. You see a lot of men so out of touch with their own children like they're strangers 😂 or be embarassed if seen taking care/nursing their children. Their reason has always been "I'm busy with work" instead thinking of "My children needs me".

Who would dislike this one??????? This is soooooo sweet!!!! Moe’s dedication of studying English makes me stop looking for excuses not to start learning Japanese, which is something I think about a lot but never actually do.
