Dacia Sandero 2021 in-depth review

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Need help buying your next car? Click www.carwow.co.uk/-help-me-car... my team and I will help you choose your ideal car at a fair price - from Mat Watson!
.............................................................
This is the all-new Dacia Sandero!
You won’t find a new car for sale in the UK this year for less money, with prices starting at just under £8,000! With that in mind, Mat’s on hand to find out whether the Sandero is cheap (i.e. poor quality & one to avoid) or affordable (i.e. good quality and one to consider).
Of course, if you’re in the market for a car in this price bracket, you know there won’t be too many frills, and that’s no clearer than with the engine choices. If you go for the entry level you’ll be greeted by a 1-litre 3 cylinder which can produce just 65hp. It also only comes with a five-speed manual gearbox! Clearly then you'll look to upgrade, with the other engine available being a 1-litre turbo, which can produce 90hp. Thankfully this one comes with a six-speed gearbox, which can even be upgraded to automatic!
However, despite the lack of thrills, the interior is more than impressive enough. Top of the range models coming with an infotainment screen which even allows a wireless connection to Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. Mat even finds the seats more impressive than some £40,000+ cars he's sat in recently (but you'll have to watch the video to find out what car he's talking about).
So what do you think - is the new Sandero cheap, or affordable? There's only one way to find out... Keep watching for Mat's latest in-depth review!

Hard to say that with Sandero latest NCAP Crush test results.. (it scored only ** from *****).. So it fail for safety, anyway that is why competition betweem brands exist to let people choose based on what they need and what they afford.. So as for the cheapest version is an honest & decent, ok since most of those are to be used as basic models in rough parts of worlds like ( India, Colombia, Turkey, Mexic, Morrocco.. etc) but considering that most Sandero are sold in mid-range trims and top spec Stepway which can reach prices from 12k up to 16k in which case i would rather get a better quality Hyundai Kona / Kia Stonic / Citroen C3 Aircross / Renault Captur (even in lower base form to match the Stepeway price but any of those are still loaded with more options than Dacia at those prices and the owner get a higher quality, better equipped and (*****) NCAP rating ..

    1. Dacia is sold under the brand Renault in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Asia and South America. That's because people are not familiar with the Dacia brand over there. So it's all just marketing. 2. The reason the Dacias in Brazil, Russia, Iran have different engines (2.0, 1.4 and what not) is because those countries do not have such tight environment restrictions like the EU has. In EU there are tighter and tighter restrictions on pollution every year, so car manufacturers are forced to kill the diesel engines, make smaller engines (1.0) or push for hybrid and electric engines. Otherwise they get fined with huge amounts of money.

I actually own one, and it's amazing how tough this car is. Here in Brazil we tend to love small, urban, tough cars (VW Beetle, Fiat Uno, etc ), they're cheap to maintain and mine actually gives me some fun driving it. Not to mention the RS model...

See I'm thinking to get this as a first car for me, and I found it and now love it. It's design is simple, yet really nice. It has the modern interior and has that really nice screen on the inside. And for its price, I only have to spend around 120 pounds a month. That's a god damn bargain
