This song fits Dabi so well, I love Dabi he is my favorite villain but the pain he went through is unbearable to watch his mom’s eyes you could tell she was shocked he survived his dad was scared you could tell by his eyes that trembled he said he searched everywhere for Dabi yet he was right there standing in front of him

lets be real here, Dabi's backstory is second to Tenko Shimura's and no one else's. Aka pretty freaking depressing/traumatic. But, Dabi actually has some sense in what he does, Shiggy just kills people for power because AFO promised it to him, Dabi's kills come from having the need to get back at his father, which, lets not forget shoto almost went down that road. SPOILERS If i'm completely honest, going through Tenko's backstory VS Touya's, Tenko's is more depressing in the moment, but Touya's is traumatic from the day his father stopped training him because his quirk was hurting him, to the day he turned sixteen. Thinking back on it, Touya "died" at thirteen, was in a coma for at least three years, and when he woke up he was sixteen. He was being held in a place that's described as some weird nursery for kids that think it's their home. Touya isn't allowed out, so he burns the place to the ground and runs back home, only to find that his father's already replaced him with his little brother. Ergo, his story is probably ten times more traumatic than Tenko's. Obviously Tenko's story made me cry because it was just depressing. I kind of level these two backstories as the same sometimes, because if you really think about it, they were in almost the exact living situation. Big fancy house, crappy dad, they both had a sibling they could rely on to talk to, and they both ran away and became villains, but under different influences (AFO and Stain). Sorry if this is weird ya'll, Dabi's my favorite character, so i do my research on him 😅 Also there's a lot of holes in Dabi's story because i was too lazy to go into detail and i don't think it's necessary for the point i'm trying to make.

Aaaaah his backstory is sooo sad, I've known about his "death" in the fire but not at how he was in a coma for three yrs that's three years gone and past, not to mention his dad is abusive no wonder Dabi is like this and he has issues and is insane for a reason...soo sad😭

Btw he didn't burn it to the ground, Hori gave page stating that his fire was too weak after waking out and easily snuffed out. Then they relocated kids and burn it down to destroy evidence.

It is kinda ironic how people were made when Endeavor was getting a sort of redemption arc and then this happened.

@@xrayamv1398 we only can thanks Endy for that (I don’t care if he “changed”, that can’t resolve years of negligence, the fact that poor woman will spend the rest of her life in an asylum, again thanks to him and his physical and psychological abuse that even made her hurt her own child by the way, the fact that he completely destroyed his older son’s life giving him so much hope and then throwing him like a bag of cow shit when he “considered” that poor Touya’s limitation (which every person in that world has) was too much trouble for him, the fact that his second son don’t even want to see him, his only daughter still today is fighting very hard to keep that family together, and Shoto will keep that nasty scar in his body and soul forever… do I need to continue? Honestly, I’m kinda glad he “understood” what he did wrong and is trying to fix things up, the 99% of people like him are incapable of doing that, but I’m afraid it’s kinda too late… at least this is what I think, honestly I do hope I’m wrong, for the rest of that family’s sake…
