We visited this Sunday and couldn't make it after 3 km too much rocks..had to take a U turn😒! A strict no if your not a good driver..also very isolated with no mobile network..

Another superb video. Thank you for sharing the message about keeping the place clean--to leave only your footprints and nothing else. I had not heard of this place before and it is great to see it still wild and not commercialized. I went to Himavad Gopalaswamy Betta in the eighties and it was nothing more than a small temple with forests around-it was gorgeous. Today, it has been commercialized beyond recognition. I am glad you are able to share these hidden gems with others. Wishing you a very happy, healthy, and adventurous 2021.

Dabbaguli basaweshwara temple is our manedevaru, yeah it is a hidden gem, we used to walk for 20miles every year from my native(urigam) admist the forest region before the roads were atleast made commutable....

Very nice and crisp video. Those tree houses (as you mentioned) are in fact made by farm owners to keep a lookout at night for elephants & particularly wild boar that love peanuts !

I love this place very much I visited this place no of times With my office colleges.. First time we went there on bikes in a dark midnight. We reached there by 2 am. At that time there is no checkpoint. We stayed the for a day. Really nice place. Later no of times we went there with friends. Even we played in the water. Good place. Don’t miss to visit

I had been to this place twice by walk while going to MM hills .amazing place.not easy to reach by vehicles. We took different route actually. White Field ,chandapura, anekal,gummalapura,Thali ,hunasanahalli and honniganahalli.this route is available in Google too.as you said off road after honniganahalli can be covered only by cars with good ground clearance. There's a Forest check post a few fishermen huts also. We can see Two wheelers along this route very oftenly. They cross the river on the country boats ( ತೆಪ್ಪ) Dantalli is the first village you reach once you cross river. Thanks for reminding not to litter the place. Nice video.

@@NotInOffice to be frank it was a unforgettable.planning for a night stay at dabbaguli during next walkathon. Most exiting part was crossing the river once by swim and once by country boat. Usually very less water flow during June. If you're dare enough try crossing by swim.thousands of local people do Cross same way before "Shivaratri". Don't forget to carry eatables.

It's good to be far away from hustle and bustle of city. You guys narrated it very well taking into consideration all necessary aspects. Whenever I watch your videos I always remember the beautiful songs of John Denver - many of which were based on mountain and rivers. One such song is " rocky mountain high". Also lots of appreciation for madam for her great voice - she sang very well. keep singing , keep doing great job, keep travelling , keeping helping others , keeping enjoying with every little or big thing you have in life - that's is called life. I used to travel to these places nearby ones and interestingly This ದಬ್ಬುಗುಳಿ can ಬೇ reached via Kanakapura- kodihalli- ಹುಣಸನಹಳ್ಳಿ, then via ಮೂಗೂರ್ checkpost instead of the way shown in google map by u! Anyway very informative ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು!
