I absolutely loved the delayed "met", "one" and "on" in the end because hearing the entire arena sing those words a beat before him sounded fantastic. I'm sure some might disagree. Edit: I also just noticed that his wife is one of the background dancers.

I've been to his gig in Warsaw a couple days ago and he performed this as the very last song. I was mesmerized as I heard myself sing first, and him afterwards. Most people from the crowd already knew they gotta delay it though haha

I was in the audience for a semi final rehearsal, they singers know where the cameras are, his pointing is all part of his act.

@@theodoros_1234 But here’s something to think about - the jury would probably be biased to a past Eurovision contestant. Marco and Loreen were the top two of the jury votes and they were both past contestants. And yeah, he would EASILY get most of the public’s votes if there wasn’t some crazy good song that year.

This is the only performance i have seen..several times each day 😂

His first performance in Eurovision, despite winning for Iceland two years in a row. First year it was cancelled because of Covid, second year his group had Covid and couldn’t perform. But this was so much fun to see, he looks so happy to be there!

Daði Freyr and Gagnamagnið, one of the most iconic Eurovision winners ever!... Without even winning or being on the Eurovision stage. If it had to happen - a show like Eurovision being canceled and a great artist like Daði not winning due to a dsmn pandemic - in a way, I'm glad it was Daði. Only him could have made it this iconic.

That was absolutely magical.

I was watching with friends and we were all so excited when we saw you. One of my friends (who was also wearing your head on her t-shirt) thought it was just winners performing and just went "look, even EBU admits that he's the unofficial winner of Eurovision 2020"

Dadi's universe is beatuiful, his arranging talents are a blessing and his stage presence is awesome. The crowd singing trick (delaying the end of lines) was neat.

We all need Daði making a version of a famous song of the host country EVERY SINGLE YEAR

​@@jenniferd37 from the viewers perspective she's just behind him at to the right, about two dancers over and one back roughly. You cannot see her when they zoom in on him from the front. You can see her when they first start panned out then zoom in. And again when they film from the left and zoom in. Hope that helps :) 01:02 is best

Went to a eurovision party yesterday, and my family and I cosplayed as him!! We all had our own respective pixel art shirts, and I was ecstatic to see him in it this year!!!
