In this first set of testing I will try my hands at splitting some wood, making some feather sticks, and using the ferro rod to start a fire. The knife did well. I was rushing and made some mistakes to try to beat the rain. Should not have done the splitting over concrete, but would happen if in the field and doing over a rock as it did put a little chip in the knife. Other then that, the blade performed flawlessly!! The ferro rod did great. Very easy to get sparks. The bit of sprinkling that was happening did it’s best to snuff it out, but was able to make fire in a couple minutes.
