As a sports videographer, I'm blessed with the opportunity to be able to experience all kinds of unique things. One of those being official and unofficial visits to D1 Power 5 schools. One of my favorite schools to visit is Penn State University. The area is great and the people always show so much love. In this video, I travel up to PSU with 5 Star Michael Van Buren (the #2 ranked QB in the nation according to ESPN) where we take a visit to PSU for the day. Mike is the starting QB at St Frances Academy, one of the top-ranked high schools in the nation. Mike spent the day with Coach James Franklin, Drew Allar, and many others up at Penn State. This video should show you what it's like from a videographer's perspective on a D1 football visit.

The 247 website makes no sense. Everybody Ms state player is a composite 4 star, but on the class rankings it shows them as a 3 star. Van buren is easily a top 10 qb in the 2024 class. Nobody debates that.

@@jwhine Well this vid is 9 months old. His rating dropped cuz st frances lost a lot of national games this year. Doesnt mean hes not good

James Franklin will tarnish his development. Example: Drew Alder, Christian Hackenberg - all these high profile QBs that could never beat OSU or Michigan
