我们男校很多时候制服团体有各自训练的时候都会和隔壁女校的combine，很像管乐团就combine一起训练，所以很多都是情侣，bsm那些也是，stjohn就只有她们举办操步比赛那些都会邀请我们去比这样，不然就是有时候我们学校有什么活动义卖会，或者出制服团体对对t恤，那些她们女校也会来support我们也会support回去

Boys schools/Girls schools tend to be older schools, while newer schools are mixed. Before the 70s, the educational philosophy across the whole world (not just Malaysia) was that gender segregation in education was recommended for students during the phase when they go through puberty. That philosophy changed though, when educators thought it would be a great idea to give students a better chance at interacting with their opposite gender. Around that time, it was also realised that educating students on the basis of gender is a form of discrimination. Boys and girls schools are also not an accurate reflection of the real world, since we are a world where both genders coexist with each other. My father went to SMK Cochrane between 1979 and 1985. It's a boy's school built in 1957. It was located at Cochrane Road, Kuala Lumpur but has since moved to jalan Shahbandar. It was an English school at first before being converted to Malay in the 70s. But since it is a diverse multiracial school, and since it already had an English based culture before the conversion, it still remains a predominantly English-speaking boys school to this day. However being a boy's school doesn't mean it was girls-free. While students from form 1 to form 5 were all boys, form 6 welcomes all SPM qualified students regardless of gender. And so the boys do have a chance to interact with girls when they were old enough. The school also had girl's washrooms for female students and teachers. When i asked did he felt like a bit not used to it when he went to uni, he said no. That's because girls were already "reintroduced" to him in form 6. He also said people are adaptable, and can adjust quickly to their environment. Boys can adjust very fast to the mixed environment of college, like within a few months at most. Despite this, he never really interacted with girls outside his family until he started working, and the first girl he interacted with was non other than my mother. To this day, his circle is still consisted almost entirely of men, only dealing with women at home and at work. I went to mixed schools all my life and I'm still really shy with girls. I never really interacted with girls but recently I start trying since i got into college. I guess I got this from him. My father got into boys school simply because the gov't send him there based on his primary school (SK Salak South, he never went to Chinese school like many Chinese people of his generation), not through any achievements. He was a rather well performing student. He was especially good at maths. He also became a prefect briefly. During his time, boys in SMK actually wore shorts until form 3! The same colour as today's smk trousers, but it was shorts. Form 3 onwards it was all trousers. My father wore shorts most of the time, until form 3. By the way during his time, his seniors actually wore white trousers. You see in West Malaysia, before 1970, each school had their own uniform. But starting 1970 (also the year when English schools started slowly being converted to Malay), all govt schools in west Malaysia began wearing the same uniform. In primary schools, it was dark blue shorts and white shirts for boys, dark blue pinnafore with white undershirts/white baju kurungs with dark blue bottoms. Btw back then all schools including sekolah kebangsaans wear shorts, and all ethnicity wore the same uniforms whether Malay Chinese or Indian. And back then no student wore tudungs. This is unimaginable in today's Malaysia. For secondary school the uniform in 1970 was originally white shorts (until form 3) and white trousers with white shirts, and light blue pinnafore with white undershirts/white baju kurungs with light blue bottoms for girls. But in the late 70s, they suddenly decided to change the white shorts/trouser into dark green shorts/trousers for boys. Students who entered secondary before that was can keep wearing white. Some independent Chinese schools also kept that white trousers/shorts. My uncle who entered Victoria institution in 1976 wore white while my father wore dark green. Another changed happened sometime in the 90s (someone pls help me verify) when SK and SMK stop wearing shorts altogether. SJKCs can still wear shorts while independent chinese schools can wear whatever they like. And also in the late 80s, the Ministry of Education under then education minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim started encouraging muslim girls to wear tudung. That's how we ended up with today.

再问一个问题：你们学校有禁止谈恋爱吗？不管是同性恋还是异性恋。有没有很多那边的男生在外面交女朋友？因为我很肯定男女混校是禁止谈恋爱的，所以想知道单性学校的规则有没有不同😂

我们学校是没有禁止谈恋爱啦，反而偶尔老师知道有学生在外面交到女朋友了都会去八卦一下

读女校的我说一下，只要是厕所都不会香的😂所有学校的厕所都是差不多的，厕所就是厕所没有女是香的男是臭。没有！都是厕所都是臭的

我还听过一个从女校转来的女生他的故事，他讲基本上每次她每次下个上厕所的时候那个厕所的门是锁着的进不到整件厕所因为会有人在里面法式舌吻，他本人有一次上厕所的时候隔壁就有人在法式舌吻。我一个读混校的从来没想过女校会那么刺激😂😂😂

2:54 跟你同感，我也是看了傻眼，完全不会做。最后进peralihan 4:25 我一开始非常不习惯，完全不懂怎么沟通，只能去找小学同学聊聊天了。面对其他同学的打招呼蛮尴尬下。 8:38😂😂 11:06我到现在都不太感去上马桶，之前form 1上一次过后根本不想去第二次了，至今为止我也只去厕所的小便抖尿尿罢了，我也不太敢去马桶哪里，很臭很脏受不了。 14:55 我有认识一个娘娘腔，但是他人缘好，会跳舞，而且是blackpink的舞，很多女生看到他都想合照，他给我的感觉蛮反差的，很娘但人缘好

我觉得也不是所有老学校都是男校/女校啦 我读的学校smsm是于1957年建成的 到现在也60多年要70年了 一开始就是男女混校 有趣的是可以讲说我家三代都读smsm啦哈哈哈 我爷爷到我姑姑再到我

選課的話每間學校都不一樣

我小学读的是百年学校从1919年到现在，中学也是百年学校，form 3 转校到一个比教新的学校。都是男女混校，然后情侣是真的蛮普遍。尤其刚刚读form 1 的时候，我们女生一起手牵手看帅哥。不过最大优点是我之前读的中学有一个building？就是一整栋都是厕所。我先在的学校leh就没有这福利了
