God, that was almost like listening to D-Cycles for the first time all over again. Only difference is that I saw the transformation aspect coming. And I love how BF changes forms from a Rex to a Waddle Dee to a Kremling to an I-Thought-He-Was-A-Squirrel-But-He's-Actually-A-Skunk-Thanks-Pemburuhadiah291 to match Ruler L, too, before switching back to human as L invades the in-universe Real World.

​@@CrashMan6547 Feels like, I'm already at confusion of what counts as a D-side in the first place, Now mario mix I got it mostly uses mario inspired sounds or music for itself so Motors has more nintendo based idea. Just misses the last part thats tricky: making a different Tune with vocals and instrumental. Motors has the unique instrumental though the vocal for first act and last was too similar to the original Cycles D sides.

Should’ve commented a while ago when I first watched it when it was around 2.9k views however the view count as of right now is only 21k, this needs more. Honestly the best d sides cycle mix I’ve seen so far! First of all I LOVE how D-Side BF changes to different species of the game he is currently playing, it leaves this really great and unique feeling! Second, the art is honestly amazing especially In the last section where the entity takes various forms and combines it into this big corrupted bush tearing out of the TV screen. Not just art but the songs a banger and the instrumentals for each section was nailed down perfectly✨ Best remix I’ve seen for D-Side itself! I’d love to see more in the future, if fire doesn’t see this… he should go to prison. This is criminally underrated holy🔥

I let my guard down in this part 5:10. The last reel is fire🔥🔥🔥!! You guys did a great job 👍

This is pretty awesome

that was rly rly good. this rly does feel like a mario version of d side cycles. the intro leading up to ruler l's laugh is nice & mostly unassuming before the true start of the song. the meta knight part was probly the highlight of the song for me, just like the ristar part it replaces. each part feels especially unique from each other. the original d side cycles does the same thing but u take that further. also, it sounds like u referenced watery grave in the final part, nice motif! also, id b remiss to mention that the art is absolutely stellar. however, its not perfect. the villager part sounds kinda weak and its rly short. the verses leading up to what i assume is the POV part feel a little unnecessary. this also has a flaw that admittedly made me unable to finish the song the first time, that being 5:02-5:14 where the vocals stray from the rhythm of the instrumental. if u ironed those out, this would b even better bc whats there that i have no problems with is excellent so, while i do feel this song has flaws of varying severity, the good stuff is awesome! v impressive!

Pretty good. The ending could use some work instrumental-wise, but other than that it was a banger. I was a little disappointed that you didn’t include Samus or Link, but I guess you needed to differentiate from the Cycles Dsides MX cover.

I'm 8 months late, but this is the best Cycles D-side remix I've ever heard.

While this is really cool and is a good interpretation of Mario Mix version of D-side cycles, taking the transformations of the D-Side Cycles and Nintendo-ifying them was cool to see, I think Ruler L’s Mario design fails at being Emperor M. Emperor M’s whole deal is he has multiple powerups at the same time, ones from SMB3, yet here I only see one: The Penguin Suit. While it’s a really cool Penguin Suit, I don’t see any other powerups from Wii. Ice Flower should probably be off the table because Penguin Suit is just that but better, but I guess it could still technically count, and Mini Mushroom should also probably be disregarded, which only leaves the Propeller Suit. I will grant you that he has a belt and kind of a scarf, which could be the propeller suit as Penguin Luigi normally wears overalls with it, but I don’t see a propeller at the top, which I would consider to be the bare minimum. The forms do overlap in both being a suit, but I imagine you could have the propeller literally popping out of the skin of the Penguin Suit, like he’s actually just wearing a penguin. Though, thinking about that coat had me confused, but then I realized it’s probably stolen from a playable Toad, which is also cool, but I don’t think it detracts from my main points.
