There are a lot of wrestlers that I love to watch, but none of them move me the way that watching Dave does. It’s like he was the living embodiment of everything good in wrestling. RIP.

Dave was a master technician on the mat and by all accounts a great guy - a true abmassador for the sport. Killed by a lunatic. RIP Dave Schultz. Your beloved sport is alive and well and the USA is kicking ass.

To be fair i couldn't beat Dave Schultz at anything and he's been dead for 27 years. He is still the man.

This is wild. Schultz seems to like these turnover situations, as though he is entertained by back and forth shows. The Cuban grabs his foot and Schultz does the same thing right after, just to make a point or to keep the show going. He was a showman. He also did like twisting knee and leg tendons and ligaments...in his opponents. Orthopedic surgeons certainly owe Schultz for increases in their patient load all over the world...

I never wrestled. I know all about this guy regardless. A TRUE LEGEND !!He was already a legend before the tragedy😢 Check out the dan gable wrestling museum and hall of fame in Iowa if you like this kind of wrestling history. It will not disappoint.

Interesting how a little Country like Cuba, that are as poor as church mice, can have such good wrestlers.
