WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but I have been moving and living in different countries due to the nature of my work. I’ve lived in countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

This is meshup of Actor, Idol and Soloist Kyungsoo. SoI'm going to be oscillating between screaming, crying and fangirling hard tomorrow. So I actually took a day off. I can't be doing this in public, can I? So the 26th is exclusively D. O. day. I'm all ready to be blown away. 3 languages in one mini album. He loves all his fans so much. My bias is now a Soloist after 9 long years. Crying ugly tears!!!

i love how the medley MV was so kyungsoo. nothing fancy, straightforward and simple. He was dressed simply, his hair was all down unstyled, he drove a non-descript car, coming home in a simple house in the suburbs. His bedroom was nothing special except for those posters. But the way everything looks so bright, sunny and beautiful, even all the colors are earth tones, but they pop. What makes everything special was though he looked simply going thru the usual at his natural habitat, the gorgeous songs just fading in and out of one's ears as makes it so so special and unique. And it's Kyungsoo, everything is just profound and simply gorgeous. Its Love is that song for me. Like it came out of nowhere. I was just chilling and vibing with the songs and suddenly, it comes for my heart and started squeezing like there's no tomorrow. Its sincere, and oh so beautiful and heartfelt. That's Kyungsoo for you. Its like love in slow burn. Slowly it creeps up on you and by the time you realized you cant go thru a day without hearing his songs, its too late. You're in for the long haul. Ive never looked forward to any album more. Thank you for your reaction, I always look forward to yours.
