    I used to pull all of the sockets on the board due to them failing, and soldering in the ICs. It took care of 90% of the intermittent failures in the field. I miss working on those old games!

    that should be an easy fix. the circuit board looks to be in really great shape. verifying the cpu is running would be a good first step once you've determined the power is good. You don't even need a scope for this board. A logic probe will tell you everything you need to know. I'd like snatch that board and fix it myself. Making stuff like that work again is like figuring out a puzzle. I enjoy the challenge of trouble shooting a piece of equipment and finding the fault. elementary stuff, but entertaining..

    Maybe you have already explained it on another video, but the signature value you enter in the fluke, is that some sort of checksum value for the ROM part? Great videos!
