I agree with you. I think his love towards noona was real. Just like what he said about his character in the "Star", in real life, he was in a timed relationship with ji hyun. Once the cast was over, their love relationship had to end. It was a sad story for him. Thats why every of his kisses in the "Star" was so passionate.
