The melody and lyrics of Plum Flower bring tears to my eyes every time I listen to the touching song. Every single word in the lyrics reminds us of our Chinese identity no matter where we go. We Chinese in the Mainland, Taiwan and Overseas alike, have gone through thick and thin but we will remain Chinese always (冰雪风雨它都不怕　它是我的国花). It doesn't matter if it is PRC or RoC, the Mainland or Taiwan. Both of them are China, our ancestral land. (梅花坚忍象征我们　巍巍的大中华) Teresa Teng sings and speaks Standard Mandarin so beautifully. Very nice song. Taking care of someone you love is not that easy.

Heard it from the BL series Addicted/Heroin. Though i don't understand a word of Mandarin, Teresa Teng's sweet and storylike rendition together with the great melody were enough to captivate me. May her soul rest in eternal peace.🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
