Yeah, Satori aren't just hated because of mindreading, but because on a species level they are smug jerks about it. Even Koishi, who acts on subconcious and can't read minds is STILL a massive jerk [Her actions during HM and also things like "because you have no freinds?"], Satoris are literally jerks at a subconcious level. It takes a special kind of youkai to be loathed by the loathed.

The colours defo have a monogatari vibe, but I think it might also be a bit of an evangelion reference too, especially bc Satori Maiden ~ Third Eye is actually based off a song in evangelion
