Kanako's theme is one of prestance and power and while some arrangements try to make it as powerful as it can be, I don't think it's the way to go for this kind of theme. The key word is presence, being able to breathe in a feeling of admiration and dread at the same time, as if the person was higher and more powerful than you. And if I may say, this arrangement does it wonderfully well! I especially like how some of the parts were mixed up to give some rythm to some otherwise...sometimes repetitve parts. But truly, this piece gives me the feeling that Kanako is the one that will end something like a war. As if she was the saviour of humanity or something. Which fits her role, in some way. _And... I just saw the description and well...I guess I wasn't too far off, huh? ^^_ Anyway, it's a wonderful piece. I don't know if you'd do CDs or if you already do some but be assured that if that was the case, I'd instantly buy them to support.

Agree. IMO this is second only to the original. The other cover always changing "that' certain "godly-powerful" tone interpretation with some instrument sounds that isn't fit for the interpretation of the feeling and atmosphere while playing that stage.

This theme demands respect, usually through power and the sheer force of the instruments, but this one achieves the same result while staying a blittle more calm and serene than other arrangements. And I really love the play of notes at 1:51

YOU TWO ARE AMAZING

I really love the opening to this. The tension it builds is fantastic. But it feels like it doesn't quite hold onto that through the piece, and ends up feeling not quite focused? at points. I'm not entirely sure why. If I had to guess, I think the low brass used is too mellow and comes through as ponderous when it needs to be a more focused sound, and that works crosswise the intention of the piece? I've also heard pieces double up fuzzy brass with low strings to initiate the notes to give them a more defined start. Not sure. This feels so close to the level of Suicide Mission and The End Run. The perfected version is there, hiding. Find it!

From the two songs I've heard from this collab album (this song and the one by ssbbmaster), I know this album is already going to be amazing
