Music like this, takes me away from our violent, desensitized society. Infact sometimes this calm music makes me cry, imagining if I could spread this feeling to everyone in the World to let them know we're all together and we all share pain and happiness together. This music makes me want to change lives, and I dont know how. I'm just me...which should be enough but idk how to use my body which is a vessel to save others who are hurt. How do I change the mind of someone who wants to murder...into someone who wants to spread love and make people smile and laugh? How do I not feel lost anymore? Sometimes this music is my only escape and I must embrace it. I have to realize I am no longer living my innocent childhood in the 90's playing Nintendo and Sega...when the only debate was who was better? Sonic or Mario? Now the debate is gun laws? or not? freedom? or security? love? or hate? Who even "runs" this nation anymore? Was anyone ever intended on "running" anything? Or did we all lose our way and follow the leader? Thank you to artists like Dam-Funk, Madlib, Flying Lotus, Pete Rock, J-Dilla, Sage Francis, Gang Starr, Nas, Tycho, Alucidnation, A Tribe Called Quest, U2, De La Soul, Bobby Caldwell, Herbie Hancock, Ray Charles, James Brown, Barry White, Bobby Womack, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Oh No, Tangerine Dream, Biggie, 2pac, Stacy Epps, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop, Pharrell, Busta Rhymes, Mike Shinoda, Negrosaki, and countless others who have inspired me through music. Though my biggest inspiration indeed is my parents and my sister. The 3 people in my life who have always and will always be the most important to me. Who taught me respect, love, care, appreciation, admiration, and everything I need to feel lucky to be a part of this life. I am sorry for those who have not had figures in their lives to lead them in the right direction. I still don't know where I am going, but I know I want to help others...protect others, and spread love and happiness to those around me. We share the same planet floating in the same universe full of mysteries and questions. Lets not be distracted by television screens or computer monitors...lets get out of this shell and blossom into something greater, together. Anything is possible so lets make it.

I feel you my brother. If you truly feel lost in these crazy times we live in today, then maybe this could help and make you understand things a little better. Look up The Zeitgeist Movement and The Venus Project. We advocate for a new system called a Natural Law / Resource Based Economy. A new world without Violence, Poverty, War, Hate, Ego etc.. But one of Universal Love, Compassion, Cooperation, Selflessness, Sharing etc... Have a look, it might change your life. =)))
