They say we fought for our homeland for 20 years, we fought for our religion Islam and Islamic law Now the war is over, we want to be peaceful. We have foreign embassies in our country. We will protect them. We allow women in every part of the country according to the Islamic system and the rights of women that Islam gives. We will give those rights to women and send a message to the world that we are peace loving people and want to live in peace. Let us live in our own country. We want to have good diplomatic relations with the world. And want to establish an Islamic system in their country. Because we are Muslims, our religion and society is Islam and we want to live under Islamic law

If the translation that a commentator has given me is accurate then I can’t see much sense in this speech, I really hoped to hear something worthier than this as to justify what they (Taliban) has done, if actually there will ever be some true justification for those barbarities… Here in South America we never had to fight bloodily in order to establish a Islamic state however we have nowadays one of the biggest muslim communities in the world and each woman and each man from an individual choice has chosen practicing the Islamic faith in their own life, no government never imposed it to anyone of them, and all they have the right of leavening it or keeping it… What Afghanistan needs is a government that respect choice and consent, not totalitarianism … Taliban is not the owner of Afghanistan because this country belongs to each free Afghan…DEMOCRACY, FREEDOM, JUSTICE and LIFE!

He was assuring the ppl whom worked with US & it's allies as well as the previous gvnt in addition remarked about women's jobs where they r needed in different govnt & privite sectors.. . And had mentioned tht there w'd be no threat for any of foreign countries the Afg..n soil to be used... .
