I had been immigrant to many countries. Portugal, UK, Netherlands, China, Hong Kong. In every country people treat you differently, they might have some prejudices, etc. But it’s your choice how get perceived by others. They used to have bad opinions about Polish people around Western Europe for many years. There was a joke used in German TV commercial - go travel to Poland, your car is already there (as Polish people stole it already). People worked on that. Now British think in general Polish are very hardworking people, and Germans love Polish food and if they have to choose to their son-in-law/manager based on nationality, they would pick Poles over most other nations. You are the representation of your country, you can can change how they perceive you and all of your compatriots abroad. you decide.

In my opinion there are 3 major dark sides in Taiwan that need the governments and citizens to grapple with. 1. Traffic problems :the population of Taiwan is less than that of Japan but the cases of traffic accident annually in Taiwan are even bigger than that of Japan. 2. Extremely high prices of the real estate : The average salary is almost the same now as 20 years ago but the housing prices have tripled in the last 2 decades and the problem is also conducive to the the extremely low birth rate in Taiwan. 3.The invasive thread from Ccp : The dacoits send a multitude of jets and a variety of battleships to encroach our territory every day. Besides there are also a lot of their accomplices working in the media and congress in Taiwan helping them to bring Taiwan to come to heels.
