@@sauliusagintas Hi Saulias like yours some one had been in mine before me the had grounded the hand (foot) brake but had not disabled the speed sensor, I have 2 Japanese TV tuners in mine I can get UK TV sound but no picture, I guess because of us being PAL, my system has a intermittent fault sometimes the nav screen reboots repeatedly, I am investigating that fault, tomorrow I am trying to Mira link my phone, I noticed in your video that there is something orange in the passenger front foot well what is it, sorry for long message, hope its ok

@@tonyrfp orange is a sticker 😁does your screen get dark/no picture but sound still coming from radio or CD. If so bad news for your hdd unit. Honda elysion has a problem with screen and hdd unit. I did replace screen for one guy because sound was coming but no picture on screen. Bad screen connection where ribbon cable plugs in. I guess soldering joints get dry. Audio system In elysions sucks. I heard lots of guys reporting screen not working or hdd unit. In Russia there are peoe who can repair. My self I never hadany problems with screen or hhd unit. Probably only question of time. I did sell mine. Good luck.

@@sauliusagintas Thanks Saulias, that's not good, no CD doesn't work at all when it is happening, but Radio works, yep sounds like it is a bad connection, I know someone has been behind the screen as an infrared control receiver has been installed beside screen, so I will hope that it just needs the connection reseating, HDD seems ok have to clear it has it is full of Japanese CD's, do you know how to clear the HDD? and how to record to it......thanks Tony

@@tonyrfp don't know how to erase songs from hdd. Never done it. Sorry. If radio work and hdd too then might be screen connection at the back of the screen is bad. If you want to remove screen i made video how to some time ago.

I have an RR3 and followed your other video for resetting the clock but unplugging the GPS aerial, etc. Does this method of cutting the cables only work on the RR5?

It should work. I haven't done on rr3 but I had someone told me that they have done on their rr3 and it works.

have an Elysion 2.4 (2007) Aero spec G. Well, my audio stereo is those original with a huge navigation button in the centre dash board. Just last week, my monitor all blank! No reverse camera, no time, totally lost. I sent to Honda service, they said no power supplied to the so-called audio head and suspected the head damaged. Any bro know where is the best place to check and replace faulty head? Kind brothers pls advice! Thank you very much!

In the HDD unit, there was a wire already cut, related to the foot brake. Is it necessary to ground this wire after cutting? Also, if we cut the wire you suggest (third one along the top), is it also necessary to cut the other footbrake wire to watch movies without the footbrake on? If you're driving the footbrake won't be on anyway.

One wire is related to a speed sensor. If you cut the only footbrake wire it may not let you to watch tv/DVD. It fools system and it rhinks that you are stationary. 😉👍

@@sauliusagintas So, it is advisable to cut both if I don't want any restrictions? And if I cut the footbrake one (the one that was already cut), is it really necessary to ground it as we see at 20:20 in the video?

@@pbaylis1 cut both. Isolate speed cable and ground footbrake cable and enjoy screen on all the time. You know that you CANNOT DRIVE AND WATCH MOVIES AT THE SAME TIME.

I just bought 2005 elysion it has 3.0 machine and sunroof. But unfortunately the head unit has been replaced with aftermarket Chinese Android, the steering wheel control do not working and dvd player nor the hdd or every button around the power button. Is it possible to make the DVD, TV, and the steering wheel control working again with the new head unit. Would you show me how the step by step.

Hotman Dominic hi I would love to help but I don't have elysion anymore and on another side, I have never fitted aftermarket head unit to elysion. Some head units you can program in them steering wheel buttons. But won't know what sort of head unit you have. I would say it is better to have an aftermarket head unit then original because original units like to fail and quite often. Could tou find me on facebook and send me a photo iof your headunit.

Does the Honda Elysion have RCA/Aux inputs? I can't seem to find them on my 2007 Prestige

There is one port and the third seats and i think should be another one in the centre console where middle seats is. 👍

@@sauliusagintas No, just asking if there are those three white, yellow and red aux jackpoints that you can plug audio and video things into. Maybe I used the wrong name "RCA". And I was also wondering what that white 20-pin connector inside the centre console is for. Maybe it's useful for something.

I think this the only video on how to dismantle honda elysion ..thanks a lots.. as I just bought 2nd honda..wondering if you have any idea on how to change the standard monitor to updates double din.. and need to find specific monitor which could fix into current honda elysion monitor mount.. really appreciate if I could able to get some guideline here.. plan to do it..

For you to get a double din unit in you must get a facia. Then you have to sort power and wires for speakers. So it is not straight forward. As a car elysion is great but to work regarding audio/video is a pain.

If there are overlapping frequencies at 88.0 ~ 90.0MHz, what will be the converted frequency?

If you have a converter with frequency 18MHz so you get on your radio 106Mhz ~108Mhz. Let me know of this answers your question

It's 107.7MHz(94 ~ 108MHz) and 89.7MHz(88 ~ 90MHz)

The short answer is the screen is bad. That's the common problem with elysions. Best sudgestion is get an Android unit from Aliexpress and do not buy a used screen or multimedia unit. It will go bad again. @@marceldornellas7856 if only the screen is bad, the radio will work apart screen. Sometimes connection behind the screen is bad so this will give black screen. Butif multimedia unis is bad the wont be any music/ sound but screen will work. As i have said before this is Honda issue with these multimedia units. If this happened to me i would replace screen with android unit.

Usually, the connection at the screen back is broken. Try to wiggle and see if it does something. Could be that that Navi unit is going bad. Can you hear any music playing when the screen is bad? If yes, then the screen is bad.

Hi Saulius, I have a 2010 Honda Elysion - Japanese import to UK. It has a RR1 DBA multi-computer - Pioneer AVIC-ZH6267ZH. I bought www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002412996340.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.38f74c4dsvQsjT All the bus and power chord are different. Do I also need to change the multi computer. If so should I buy as a replacement multi-computer (also learnt , that it is called the AV unit). Or should I buy adaptor chords. Please advise. Thanks Manuel
