D.I.Y. Canopy curtains for poster beds. This instructional video shows a unique way to attach a fabric canopy to a wooden four post bed frame so that the bed canopy curtains look custom made for the bed. When pinning the bed canopy netting to the top rail the beautiful poster bed is enhanced with what looks like a bespoke canopy.
The use of drawing pins or thumb tacks makes very small holes in the fabric hem of the canopy ceiling and doesn't damage either the canopy or the bed frame. Depending on the hardness of the timber you may need to use a small hammer to push in the pins.
This is an alternative method of attaching one of our bed canopy curtains to a wooden poster bed and "dresses up" the canopy bed frame. The other method is to tie one of our box shaped bed canopies to the top rail of your four post bed. Check out our other videos....
