It's called Tsukkomis or retorts in japanese. And the VA nails it perfectly.

Bro, it would have been so cool if Kazama was voiced by Sugita-sensei. I would have loved to hear Tama-senpai(who voices Rachel Alucard) banter with Kazama, as if it was hearing Rachel bantering with Ragna xD
