I actually love this twist looking back because it makes sense if you watch episode 15. Sips is connected to everyone with a shard and because bo Clair had a shard and she did the connection made sips die as well. That's why eating the shard brought him back to life.

I find the whole thing about Erina losing herself in the violence to be kind of out of place because like, Abby should know what kind of people the party are. This is a perfectly normal Erina thing to do. Like Dingo said much earlier in the series, the party's actions are chaotic good at best.

I want that energy Sips has where he can fight a literal blind person and the first word out of his mouth is "Look."

Honestly same happened to one of my characters who is similar to Erena but not the same. Both are magical girls though mine is a sailor moon reference (though her outfit is tuxedo mask) so she's a kinda and brainy girl but can be airheaded at times and a cry baby (her class was arcanist). Her mother is killed by a naga who manages to escape (this person also temporarily killed her fiance) Melitta (the character's name) is normally a pacifist and doesn't actually like killing or fighting but does to help protect others. This was the first time and so far only time she wanted to kill someone. We fight with the naga again. Melitta ends up accidentally face to face with her mother's killer in melee. Melitta uses genie form turning into an efreeti and long story short after a lot of hits and hits taken manages to slice the naga in half with a critical blow last hit from her scimitar while it was lit a blaze with fire

Remember. With enough gold, the afterlife is as much a revolving door in D&D as it is in Dragon Ball Z. Except the new rules are you can't resurrect someone who doesn't WANT to come back, and that you can resurrect them an unlimited number of times, as long as you have gold and they want to, and no deity that happens to be able to interfere with this sees reason to block it (this last one is VERY rare). Oh, wait. In Dragon Ball Z, it IS possible to avoid getting brought back if the target doesn't want to come back. And later on, they do get a dragon upgrade to be able to bring back people who died before, so, um... Oh hey. D&D is like DBZ with death. You know, as long as the GM allows resurrection. RIght?

Actually the animated spell book (great series) makes a decent case on what happened. Specifically if a necromancer was really easy to kill, they didn’t die or rather, there was a clone.

@@enternamehere1095 I don't know if she was a necromancer really...she's just resourceful and really really evil. It would make sense for her to not be dead, but if I had to guess what happened maybe the thing that took over Sips before is somehow tied to the crystals?

Can't. The dragon isn't there with them. It's in Rascam. It's not close enough to collect Sips' soul.

TheTop HatNerd Oh thank goodness! I had forgotten that! Thankfully they flew to Kylandria on it and since Sneeze ended up in it after it crash, the gem should suck in Sips as well.

I’m currently binging this series. IF THERE. IS ONE. MORE. CLIFFHANGER. A CHILD WILL PERISH.

Re-watching this with friends I mentioned that the chairs didn't seem like a problem because you could just push the arm of the chair or table aside and break it. My friends then informed me that most people aren't ABLE to break chairs as easily as they open a door and it was another one of those moments where I gained a large amount of perspective on just how much more physically strong I am then most. That's what happens when you build a house on your own with just your blood, sweat, and tears but never actually bother to test that strength out against other people.
