Same thing is happening in a campaign I'm in, although we did manage to not murderhobo one guy who was a baddie that became an ally! And didn't even backstab us. I try to temper people from just murdering everyone but it's rarely successful. And I'm the damn barbarian...

You guys do probably one of the best D&D games on youtube! It is fun to watch because you have a spectacular set (the map with the props rocks!), a decent story line with good hooks from the DM, and the players are fun -- my fav is the guy with the beard that plays the druid because it seems like he just loves that character and enjoys everything the druid can do. The group listens to each other and no one really tries to dominate. The other one I really like that is like this one in spirit is the Chris Perkins with the Robot Chicken guys adventure.

***** I think one other one with Chris Perkins is good: "FULL Chris Perkins UK Adventure - Celebrity D&D Game from 2010." Esper the Bard has some neat things with miniatures and maps on his channel. Then Rhykker and Cryaotic have games on their channels where they play by video conference and have an electronic board with tokens instead of tabletop maps. I have enjoyed all of these. So far, I'd say that the Node D&D is probably my overall favorite because I like the spectacular props and I like how this group interacts together, and the way that they are concerned with storyline and character motivations/hooks.

This is, by far, my favorite D&D playthrough on KZread. It made me want to try the game, ultimately becoming one of my most passionate hobbies now. I watch this a few times every year because I love the play style and the inspiration I get from it! NODE, make a separate D&D KZread channel!!!

Rewatching after alll these years and the "The night is young and so are our targets." still just slays me. You guys played great revenge driven savages.

This is one of the best representations of d and d play ever. Disappointed that there will never be another game like this.

I'm going to go make some popcorn to enjoy a great movie.

I remember watching the series as it came out all those years ago. This series got me into D&D and you know what? Im very very glad i did haha. This will always be known as the starting point for my hobby that i love the most. Thank you Node. And to an extent thank you Sam for giving me the inspiration to be an amazing DM. ♡

I'm play a 1st edition game, a pirate 5th edition game, a mini series for my friend to try out being the DM and about to start the Dragonlance campaign with my family with me as the DM. Thank You

If it were to become an anime the plot would be terrible and it would be a lot like game of thrones and then the guy would go like "KORO! (Death)" but it would not just make sense. Also the anime would be a reverse harem which nobody likes and animes don't do well when it's based on the past or when people can predict what's coming next.

You guys really do need to keep doing these. This was awesome. You guys embodied the joys of D&D to a tee! And the after-effects of blood, fire, sound, etc. was just awesome.

It’s been 6 years?! I’ve watched node, corridor, and what is now corridor crew, through multiple KZread accounts. And now they’re (as of 2021) are better than ever!

I can't imagine how loud a fully raged Bran must've sounded like in the middle of the quiet night.

The fact I watched this series on release and I still watch it says a lot.

The way they brutally killed the wife and son is so sad 😭😭

Years later and here I am again, laying in my bed, watching four nerds play a game that I would get into playing. Now I’m in four campaigns and working on making my own.

I miss when the whole group was together. It’s not the same anymore, the peak era is gone I was lucky to be around to see it when it was here. A lot of people will never know just how great node once was

I've been playing D&d with my friends for about a year now and this is still one of my biggest inspirations. This was very well done compared to other people who record their sessions. Really enjoyed the movie!

I still watch this. I used to go to a local church for wi-fi to check every week to watch and see every episode when they were being published. After that, I started playing and got my friends player, and now a DM for years. This video has moments that give me chills, it's amazing.

I played D&D with some of my friends, and one of them freaking missed an execution blow. It was fucking hilarious.

I had a friend who tried to jump a cavern. he only needed a 10 to get across, but he got a 1 and had -1 dexterity. what the DM said was that he tripped the second he started running and only his head fell off the ledge, but his head popped off on a sharp rock....... anticlimatic eh?

This series is by far the best televised D&D campaign because you guys don't talk over each other, you edit out the slow parts and don't have any super geeks that give D&D a bad name. The worst ones on KZread have one static camera angle of the same 5 super geeks that talk over each other while playing the game rules and sacrificing the flow and continuity. Good job node. I hope to see more of these (though I didn't prefer the pokemon ones).

This is peak Node content. The channel will never be this good again with the direction it has taken.

Funny how 3 hours is the full season here. Normaly 3 hours is just a short session.

Agreed, this video is really great! It shows great skills on storytelling, props, lights, edition, sounds and much more.

This was my first introduction to dungeons and dragons. I was a bit skeptical and close minded to the whole thing but, you guys made it such a bonding and fun experience to watch that I can't wait to try it with my own minutes.
