Im making a world where 2 Death Knight Warlords are at war. 1 wants revenge on the god that cursed them, so he wants to exterminate all their followers in a religious genocide. The other wants to be redeemed and is doing everything in his power to stop the other one. Everyone else gets caught inbetwen
Death knights are my favorite monster in the game. I feel like there aren't enough monsters that are more powerful warriors instead of just being raging abominations or wizards with a gimmick, and the death knight definitely scratches that itch.
The only thing that doesn’t make sense to me about death knights is why a good god would transform their paladins into powerful evil monsters. Love these video😊
I had a pc in curse of strahd turn into a Death Knight (that campaign was very off the rails). She is now a Darklord of her own domain and patron of Warlock in my current campaign.
I could never square the idea of good gods creating evil death knights. Punishing a failed servant of good by giving them tremendous power and every reason to hate the world then turning them loose, that's just nuts. If I use a death knight they'll either be forced by their curse to do some kind of good / honorable duty as penance. Or I want them evil, they'll be created by an evil god / archfiend from an already evil follower.
That was amazing 👏
The most wellk-known dath knight in the Realms - Miltiades. His story is great. And he got a happy ending.
I love Death Knights because they are like liches but martial focused despite wielding powerful magic. They also have their own individual back stories on what cursed them so their personalities can be uniquely tailored to the campaign.
Well done. Motivation for immortals is not an easy direction.
From a Warcraft player perspective this was an epic read.
Love your narrative videos, makes the lore feel so much more personable
Wow this is so insane. I’m fully entertained.
Fantastic work man really enjoying your channel!
i like to hear of the death knights who shrug off there hate of life and fight to protect the weak and innocents. not many story's like that .
Your storytelling and music selection were both perfection
That was a very good story telling.
... Impressive...most impressive!
such a unique and fascinating way to deliver lore. love the videos
Oh, fantastic story!
Lord Soth almost 30 years ago is literally what turned me on to D&D and the fantasy realms in general. Id like to hear a retelling of his beginnings to now.
