By far the best source of Infernal lore has been your channel, my friend. Had me hooked on your PitFiend Video and now I’ve been creeping through the rabbit hole. Haven’t had the time to binge till now, so now that the Nine Hells series is well on it’s way I’ll start consuming this like Celestial Souls

I mean there are dozens of video over this same content without these kinds of intros. I feel like this comment was weirdly entitled and backhanded. You can’t say you love the video and then casually suggest the creator remove a third of it? I don’t know if you know but the intro IS part of the video lol.
Just when i think i can't get anymore nerdy... Faerun lore my friends. You can't get anymore than this. And I'm right at home. Too bad the company that owns the Rights, isn't the kind we want to own it. This is a golden nugget in the hands of a Scrooge character.
A small note about alignment tendencies: Acheron embodies the alignment Lawful Neutral (Evil), which is read as "Lawful Neutral with Evil tendencies," and Gehenna is Neutral Evil (Law).
Been researching devils and the nine hells for some new game content. This series is exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you so much for this content and for the content yet to come. It is so hard to find info of the hells and other planes. I find the planes so fascinating and I'm getting ready to send my players into a planar adventure. Your videos are helping so much! Thank you! You are definitely doing the Lord's work! Keep it up. I'm loving the channel!
Oh man, HERE WE GO TO THE DEPTHS
Heavy sighs echo among the dim lights of the nearly-empty void. Scattered earth float among the nothing. Blues and oranges etched on the edges. The slow tapping of boots drum. The singing of rough crystals of mana join. Wisps of blue conjoined into a figure... It is this figure, of leather cloaked and wrapped with pouches, that held the flames of blue. Creeping in, the steady, slow pace of the lady slows. As one would listen closely to her... The familiar voice of Rich is heard. A forbidden slab in her hands. Words passed like a bird. She is but a gain among the sands, held by a god. And he is watching... among the chaos of the realm.
This is amazing! I runn a dnd campaign taking place in hell, the party has been held up in the wild beyond witchlight tie in quest while I've been studying the hells... this resource couldn't have come at a better time.
I think the world of Krynn needs exploring far more too over looked. Brings so many great stories and characters to light. Takisis, In particular Id love to hear more lore on. Lord Soth, Raistlin, the Dragon Lord wars so much material
Hell yeah! 😉
ok this one was a lantern beyond the call of my friend..tomes,scrolls,and ledgers oh my...it is absolutlly mystical ..im a bad speller its a draw back of knowing a GREAT writer..and hopefully being one myself.....zzzzzz rich..your scap on everything is breath taking..you rock man
Dude your like the Baldermort of DnD and very cultured choice of the Gedonia soundtrack
I leave this here for your dark patron. May they grant you increased visibility on this fugue plane
I've been running a self built campaign for a year and a half now and am sending my players to the hells. I've been looking for a comprehensive and details explanation of the hells for awhile and am excited to dive into your content. Thanks!

I created a Tiefling for a game whose infernal parentage was Zaphen of the Dark Eight. I had known about them from a Nine Hells campaign but just thought that since they weren't mentioned in that capacity again they had gotten busted down to just high ranking and named pit fiends. Great video

One of my favorite characters I've ever had is my winged Tiefling, Damakos. Who, during last campaign (current one is 2 years in and shares same universe as the previous), found out he's the nephew of Asmodeus, and his father is 1 of the Pit Fiends who make up his Council.
I watched this three times and still cant get enough xD keep up the great work!

The Nine Hells is a place I have always wanted to visit when it comes to my dnd or pathfinder games, just because its one of the few places in the multiverse were every action is seen as a political move by everyone, even if its not to you.

candlekeep has a mythal and lots of other protections that stop summoning, gate, and teleport spells from working. so it would have had to be all mental.

So your position is that Candlekeep has a strong enough magic ward to prevent Asmodeus himself, the creator of the nine hells or any deity/god for that matter from summoning anyone within the confines of Candlekeep? We will just have to agree to disagree on that one my friend... although you may still be correct that is all mental. I leave that descision to you! :) Great comment, thank you!

This should scare anyone (characters) from being interested in going to this most hostile and wicked place. Great job! ❤ And congrats on 2.5k subs you will likely get from this. I've never understood how any group of characters could even entertain the idea, no matter how large (30 or more) or powerful (30th level or more) the party, unless directly empowered by some greater deity (with great artifacts of preservation and destruction). You would need an army and you still wouldn't have home advantage. Only to rescue a person of extreme importance and ultimate good could any group consider losing a team, each of them of equal value. Love and loyalty.... it would have to be those. It would be a foolish and an almost guaranteed failure of conquest but that combo would overcome wisdom. A+ for the work this must have required. I hope we see Lich pt 4 soon. I'm eager. Red Faux

So glad some people see Baator (and most of the lower planes for that matter) the same way I do! And Lich 4 script is almost done. I think we are looking at Volume 2 of this series and then immediately recording Lich 4.
I'm so excited to have found this! You've done such a good job!
Your descriptions are pretty good, like the adjective noun use to make your language more engaging: forbidden secrets, tall windows, candle-keep study, infernal incantation , ancient pages, diabolical light, perpetual twilight.....in my world of Shadowlight, the ivory sun also never leaves the sky for the kingdom's working class the luxury of experiencing the luxury of a full night's rest beneath a black night sky filled with stars that gleam like polished steel. But like the comment below...."Your Video has some of the Best Visuals. " Where do you get them? An Ai app maybe? I have my own pictures but they are cartoonish, thinking of plugging them into an AI generator for multiple images of same characters?

I see the Nine Hells as the rabbit ear, antenna television option while the supreme cable package that is the 666 layers of the Abyss are just a better choice for those that like variety. Yet considering that every Hell or Layer are 'channels' most folks wouldn't ever want to watch, let alone suffer in for all eternity, I think I'll stick to viewing entertaining, fun and informative lore sharing of what they're all about without choosing one or the other. My friend and I recently watched this video and we really enjoyed it, and we both love the work you have done with this. After watching we were confused on who Griley Tomekeeper is as we can’t find anything online about him, I was wondering if you could shine any light on who he is?

So BG3 has a vice grip on me…I’m definitely new to DnD but so glad I’m now an adventurer and absolutely subscribing 😊🤔
Well I found my new obsession
i am far more interested in the Nine Hells and the Abyss then i am in the gods of Forgotten Realms... all the stories in the lore coupled with how gods have been presented by DMs in all the time i've been playing DnD has just lead me to conclude that the gods of the forgotten realms are a bunch of toddlers with far too much power and time on their hands and their favorite past time activity is to see how much they can meddle in the materiel realm before Daddy Ao catches them in the act... and for some unfathomable reason he never does catch them. -.-

Great video though I think that the intro is excessive. Also, this is going to sound a little absurd, but are you using a text to speech engine like Eleven labs that's been trained in your own voice? The reason I ask is that your delivery and cadence is almost "over articulated", and there are seemingly baffling choices for when you choose to pause between various phrases.

P.S. I am curious about the pauses you speak of... can you provide a good example/timestamp? :)
I have a feeling doing this scenario justice is going to require the intensely descriptive rendition of story telling. The colors, contrasts to them, structures if any as well as flotsam & jetsam if any..the sounds & so on. I like this but it feels like WE ARE MISSING something from this no matter who tries to do it. Expect a male & female (peers..) to make it happen in all sincerity. My guess that is.
