@@sword7166 yep. I just did a dungeon crawl with numerous encounters between rests as a warlock where you had to really manage resources and I used hex for the damage boost because you can keep it up for an hour on a single slot.

@@markusklemm4516 Almost. I'd argue that force plane, radial, and spring/elastic (compliant machine) are the 3 simplest machines of which all others are built off of. (force plane)×2=(inclined plane), (force plane)+(radial)=(lever), (radial)×2=(wheel and axle), (elastic)×2=(rope/chain), (rope/chain)+(wheel and axle)=(pulley), etc.

Dr. Abe's take on death at 25:53 is just one of the best things ever said in a ttrpg ever. Y: "I don't even have an organic brain." A: "Right. What a cruel joke to make you feel these things. And, similarly, the gods who created the prime material plane did the same with us. It is an absolute travesty. Existence is a riddle whose ultimate answer is a laugh in the face of all beings. I tried to teach my brother‘s how to play, My youngest brother was not into it include a character off of Chris Baumstead and Insisted that he only works out. My oldest brother crazy a paladin who has an actually good paladin. My last brother decided to make it 4 foot six dwarf barbarian who murders men, women, and children, ate his mother and father, wears nothing but a loincloth, and flirts with every women around. It would have been a nice easy introduction if “Snorlak the Destroyer” wasn’t cracking dirty jokes and trying to kiss there guide.

I love that there is zero dramatic tension in this one-shot but I'm absolutely riveted. It's so funny. Every character is a treat. I would pay to see this table coming up with new wild avatars for their comedy sketches.

Everyone's reaction to Yahuti having just a drawing of a heart in their chest was so out of nowhere.

Aabria's DMing style amazes me. They have mastered the chaos dm method unlike anyone I've ever seen. The level of just "ok. we're doing this now" comes off so flawlessly and effortlessly it's just amazing. If Brennan has mastered Judo DMing Aabria has mastered drunken boxing DMing. It's truly a pleasure to watch a train turn into an ATV.

Of all the DnD I've seen on the internet, this is the most accurate to a home game with my friends I've ever seen. The absolute chaos.

I am not even two minutes into this and as a dane I have to say that I love the fact, that when trying to make a danish accent Freddie went for a sort of mix between a swedish and a german accent, wich geographicaly would make sense! Unfortunatly a danish accent sounds nowhere near as flattering. Unlike our other scandinavian neighbours there is no sing-songyness to detect, and according to said neighbours, we sound like we are trying to talk with a giant potato in our mouth all the time.

One thing Aabria does as a DM that I really love is when she allows certain actions as long as the PC can describe how it would work in game. "Describe how paddles gives you advantage in combat" is a good example, when the player has to/can justify certain actions it really adds to the experience and keeps things within bounds, definitely something I will be using in my future campaigns.

@@brittanyhansford12 I think Brennan fully broke character at that point.

The editing on this is absolutely perfect. As a whole this is elevated considerably with the editing and production, while remaining unintrusive. The players are absolutely fantastic as expected.

Me, who has listened to literally every episode of dndads: huh, I wonder what these people look like. Oh well, I'm sure I'll recognize their voices immediately if I hear them somewhere else Me, also only recognizing the voice after a solid hour of gameplay: GLENN CLOSE??? MY BOY???
