D&D Ambience - [CoS] - Town Of Vallaki

The shops and homes that enclose the town square
are decorated with limp, tattered garlands and painted wooden boxes filled with tiny, dead flowers. At the north end of the square stands a row of stocks, locked in which are several men, women, and children wearing crude, plaster donkey heads.
In the center of the square, peasants in patchwork clothes eye you suspiciously as they use cups and vases to draw water from a crumbling stone fountain. Standing tall at the center of the fountain is a gray statue of an impressive man facing west. All around the square are posted proclamations:
COME ONE, COME ALL,
to the greatest celebration of the year:
THE FESTIVAL OF THE BLAZING SUN!
Attendance and children required.
Rain or shine.
ALL WILL BE WELL!

Vallaki is where my party got the sword of sunlight from someone named Richtovio
My party just murdered the entire government of Vallaki. So next session, they’re going to learn that Vallaki fell into turmoil and got raided by the werewolves. Actions have consequences :)

Haha it does a bit. I think the picture is actually Bree (no official artwork for Vallaki). The rain is actually my most detailed to date - it fully evolves over the 3 hours.

pretty sure this is art for War in the North, because the dwarf, elf, and ranger from the game are all in the foreground

I freaking love these. Really stimulates my imagination. I especially love the distant conversation and the slowly changing weather here. Any chance you're planning on doing a drow city soundscape? I've yet to find any combination of cave and town sounds that makes me feel like I'm there.

Yoarashi thanks ☺️ I can imagine why mixing city and caves wouldn’t sound quite right. It would need the echo on the sounds of the city too. It is on my list, I shall get around to it once I’ve finished this Curse Of Strahd series.

I love this but I hate that sound of running water. Really really really really wish it wouldn't have been there.
Drink theft on the loose in this town
the constant rain is a bit unnerving you should make like either two videos one with and without rain or half a video each or just make it sunny and let someopne lay the rain ambience lay over it if they need to
These soundscapes are awful. Pulled up one for the old bonegrinder amd what could immediatly be heard? Cackling witches. And who decided the slavic woods would have an never ending bird cry considering they are described as silent.
