D&D Ambience - [CoS] - Mists of Ravenloft

Музыка

The woods are quiet this night, and the air grows chill. My fire sputters as a low mist gathers around the edges of the camp, growing closer as the night wears on. By morning, the fog hangs thick in the air, turning the trees around me into grey ghosts. These aren't the same trees that surrounded me the night before.

Absolutely love this! Wish I'd have had it years ago. I ran the Ravenloft campaigns with a group back in 1991 and got hooked. My husband and I continued to run after the group dissolved and we wrote over a hundred journals of our characters campaigns. Now our kids are into DnD and they're sifting through our old material 😁

I can feel my soul being ripped from me as I listen. Great stuff, matches the ambience of Barovia perfectly, but I could also see myself using this in many different situations. 10/10, keep up the good work.

This one is just a little too quiet. I think it's better to go louder than quieter, because volume can always be turned down.

I get that, and i understand your point. I tend to try and get it so that all of my soundscapes work together so people aren't jumping at the volume dial every time. Some, such as this one, are designed to be extremely subtle; to the point where there not so much background noise but ambient noise instead. This one is the sound of a deathly quiet forest with faint, indistinguishable sounds within the silence. I personally think its already too loud :/

It sounds great on headphones with higher volume, where it can be adjusted to "barely audible" and sound super atmospheric, but not for broadcasting across a table (where even max volume is super quiet)

@@Equeon then you should invest in the proper speaker system to broadcast it across your table. This ambience is designed perfectly. The tool which you use to broadcast it is at no fault of the creator
